  • @Ryan_gogaku
    @Ryan_gogaku 2 ปีที่แล้ว +61

    I thoroughly enjoyed this performance. There was such depth and variation in color and tone. The only thing I can think to contribute is that I think you can get more out of the rhythmic tension of this piece. If you play the first few 5/8 rhythms (measures 14, 15, 19-21) with little or no rubato, then the audience is forced to recognize it as an unstable 5/8, not just 'mentally correct' it to 6/8, and that helps build up a rhythmic tension that gets released in the big climax sections, adding one more layer. Similarly, for the LH 16th-note motif in, for example, measures 289-300, it was so fast that, to me, it just sounded like rolled chords, but if you can (somehow? As I write this it sounds impossible, but you've proven your ability to do harder things already) space out those two notes and force us to hear the syncopation, even in just one of the repetitions of that motif, it would really add even more to the rhythmic excitement of the piece.
