Upgraded from an older 18v kit. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.

I had the 12V a few years ago, the DCF901B with the 1/2" anvil. I was amazed at how powerful it was. I decided to stick to the 20V platform, so I sold it and got the DCF921, which has been great, although it's a lot heavier, and it's a lot taller too. If you're open to the 12V platform, then definitely experiment with the DCF901B. Definitely punches above weight.

Hi, very interesting demonstration ty, mine is coming Monday 22nd, I’m very impressed with the videos and the excellent reviews like yours, I have it’s bigger brother dcf894h that is to bulky for some spots and the 921 is perfect for tight spots, put lugs on in high torque only it’ll make them tight, excellent quality video ty, Bob,

I believe the break away torque is 450 ft lbs in both modes 1 & 2 .
Mode 1 is limited to 150 lbs tightening , mode 2 is 300 foot lbs tightening.
    Thanks for the video.

@@funnymomentsnow1425 I use it a lot more than I thought I would. I went ahead and got the 3/8 also. I mainly got the 1/2 for swapping out my summer and winter wheels but I’ve used them to put a bbq together, put a new table saw together, replaced a couple fence posts and used it to screw bolts through the base bracket, a new bed frame, and more I’m sure. I really like them.

From the vids i seen, the 12v dcf901 is rated at 400 ft lbs but can actually do more. This one rated at 450 n pretty much what it is. So the 12v is jus as powerful or a bit less. Just like the m12 and m18 are rated the same. They use the same motor.
