    everyone that's asking where he's at... well I found a answear to that on his Facebook page.
    This is what he wrote:
    Hey everyone. I’m sure you’ve been wondering where I’ve been and why no new videos lately. Basically, I had a small back injury in October and was recovering from that for about a month. I finally got healed and then my neighbor’s toilet supply line busted in the middle of the night and flooded his place and mine (came under the walls). They had to cut out the lower foot of drywall off my walls in the bathroom, den, and two closets. This has prompted me to do some much needed renovations to my place. I’ve had to move all of my stuff out of my downstairs and into my garage. Thus, I’ve lost my shooting space! The insurance isn’t paying me a ton of money so I’ve decided to do the drywall repair and painting myself. I’ll hire a company to do the hardwood floor install. Anyway, I haven’t really had any time to think about the channel lately. I apologize for this. I guess I’m taking a small break from the channel until this is over and I can move all my stuff back in. I will do a video explaining all of this in more detail. Plus maybe I’ll just do some progress videos as I get this done.

    I used th-cam.com/users/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell

    I think this was the last video 50skid made and it's been over a year. In my opinion, during his break, Jason realized there is more to life than working on BMW's. Working on a car as a hobby is different than working on a car that you need to get to work and get around. I hope Jason buys himself a brand new car and a house with a nice size garage, so he doesn't have to worry about neighbors, space and pressure to work fast. Jason you saved us all so much money and made so many of us do things we never could have imagined to do ourselves on a BMW. Your videos will live for as long as the m52 and m54 engines are on the road. Thank you and God Bless.

    I’m going with 1/2”. It has wider socket size selection and then I can downsize to a 3/8”. I know I’ll loose some torque but that’s the idea since smaller bolts have lower torque specs.

    Thank you for uploading this video and demonstrating some of the pros and cons between the two stubby impacts and with the old m18 compact impact. Were you using a chrome socket or an impact socket on the 3/8"? If you were using chrome, i think that would also affect the performance since impact sockets are typically heavier and are made with a softer metal so to absorb and transfer the impacting percussions more effectively.

    i know this is unrelated to the video but i have an issue. My e46 330 is have hesitation when accelerating from 2.5k to around 5k it used to be just bad 3k but now its worse. I thought it could be my vanos and maybe its just gotten worse over time, but i noticed it got worse since i put a siemens MAF sensor in from the junkyard (btw this solved like 3 different issue for me including getting rid of my check engine light) i also have a super old air filter too. So i was thinking could it just be that its dirty and thats why it hesitates in the higher rpm. I have also read that because the MAF is a hot film style it cant really be cleaned with breaking it. I was going to buy drvanos' rebuilt unit and see but if its just a dirty maf and there is a way to clean it without breaking it then i would rather do that for now. Hopefully you see this question i need some help. 2004 e46 330 6spd smg.

    Great video, the difference on the Milwaukee m12 3/8 is that your using Grey Pneumatic thin wall light weight impact sockets and they don’t pack a punch as Grey Pneumatic original heavy 3/8 impact sockets. I have both versions in 3/8 & 1/2 thin wall and heavy impact sockets, and I can tell the difference in the punch they put out. Try the 3/8 version with a heavy 3/8 impact socket and you will see the difference as night & day. Keep the videos coming.

    You actually get the most power from the xc 4.0 as the individual cells used in that battery allow the most amp draw out of all the xc packs.

    hey man. got an issue, nothing to do with this version of video. I have an E39 with a GM3 issue. can you help out RQ. All the door say they are open on the dashboard. Yet all doors are closed. I dont have INPA or anything. I need to fix this issue without a computer. I have checked all micro switches and they work as they should. Nothing broken and circuits are fine. Checked the wiring for any grounding issues. This is where my problems comes in. Would it be best if i disconnect the battery and run a test wire from the negative terminal and test probe the earth lines from these microswitches. every door does not have bare metal showing and getting a ground test is almost impossible. Furthermore, how the hell can i test the power line where by the GM3 is involved. I have x3 GM3 units and tbh, I cannot confirm any of them to be compatible with my TDS. 2 came with the car and the 3rd i bought myself. The only thing that works WITHOUT remote keyfob and shows to fully functional is the boot. This shows to be functional on the DASHBOARD but the doors DONT. They say defect is present. Once i can figure out why my doors say they are open then I can MOT. I need some old school testing to be taught. Can you do this to a friends E39 and run tests.??? petrol diesel makes no difference the wiring is the same almost. Fuses and relays are my biggest concern right now. Fixed the wiring loom in the arse end and repd my wiring from a doner 523i and fitted right into the 525tds just fine. All rear electrics are now good and no rocket boosters present on the dashboard now! If need be I can upload a video for you to see what I am talking about. Then I can upload all the fixes done or works completed. I am having too many brain farts right now and im screwed for financing. please help if you can. merry christmas.

Nice tools, but if an extension is often needed it takes away some of the versatility of having a compact tool.

    5:25 or you can also use a mid length socket.

      Budget Boost DIY i use a 1/2” stubby all the time. Rarely ever need a 3/8” drive impact. Usually only use a 1/4” drive or 1/2” drive.

    • @hardrowcustoms6705

      3/8 drive with a 1/2 adapter would be heavier than a 1/2 drive, and stronger than the reducer

      4th mode is suppose to tighten up to 10lbs. Basically for small fasteners only.

    for having max 250 ft lbs I expected both to remove lug nuts far more easily than this! TY I guess this means I should go for a 18 or 20v impact

    • @WeldingForJesus
      @WeldingForJesus 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you only buy one impact wrench, a high impact is definitely the way to go. One of these small ones is nice for tight areas though, but it is easier to make do with handtools on such things than to break open rusted nuts on heavier equipment by hand..
      Oh, and 20V is usually a marketing gimmick, some companies use the higher deviation of 18V tools because it sounds more powerful.

    • @dummkompf
      @dummkompf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WeldingForJesus I got the m12 stubby 3/8. It removed an axle nut for me already so I think it should do everything I need it to.

    • @WeldingForJesus
      @WeldingForJesus 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dummkompf If you can make do with just that then it is awesome. After all; money saved is money earned and considering the price on tools these days it quickly adds up.
      I bought my first impact wrench because doing lug nuts on my truck was wearing me out, around 700 Nm x 96 by hand. 🤢 I got the 1/2" stubby as a light duty complement later on, and it is a great tool where it is usable.

      Use a thick walled impact socket. That should work and if it Still doesn't work, than put a 1/2 adapter on it and you will still get more torque. Hope this helps

    • @50sKid
      @50sKid  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      bhadz100 the new one is really nice but it’s got a bigger head so it doesn’t get in everywhere the old one did and it’s much heavier. The earlier model is my preferred 3/8. But the newer 1/4 one is still the same smaller size as it was before and to be honest, that is the one I always use because it sounds nicer!

    What do you recommend for me to carry on my SUV? I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 1995 Integra. I'd like to have it for changing out flats on the Integra though but I don't want to own both.

      the 3/8 or 1/2 " mid torque shld be able to do the job just fine. unless you wanna use the big boys which is way heavier.
