I have both, Metabo doesn’t like rain and doesn’t come with a larger hanging hook. Xgt I can use in wet weather and has a large hanging hook. You seem to leave the specs out I mentioned in your videos and ranking chart. Also Metabo batteries don’t like getting wet
@@TorqueTestChannel Have you tried the new (BL4040F) 4 amp HO battery with any of the XGT stuff? I’d be Curious if it brings the beans on the 3/4 and mid torque
13:11 - I don't get your scale here. In what world do valve cover bolts require 50 ft-lbs torque to loosen? What kind of unobtainium valve cover bolts could even survive 50 ft-lbs? Even if we're considering the road salt rust hell in the northern Midwest U.S., I don't see the a lot of the fasteners in your scale surviving the torque numbers you have listed.
It's the bottom end, it just means like up to 50, the lowest automotive applications. You're right a 12mm/1/2" lug nut wont handle 475 ft-lbs, but the scale has nothing to do with installing fasteners. A 120 ft-lb spec bolt on a wheel, or leaf spring shackle, or upper control arm after years of road use can easily require impacts on this channel that make 4, 5, 600 ft-lbs. The scale is based on impact performance on the channel, not torque wrench book spec.
Last year my GF found the Makita XWT18 1/2" on Amazon at a reasonable price. To round out my Makita 18v set I got one and a XWT12 for the 3/8" stuff that I come across. She was so impressed with my XWT18 that she bought one for herself. Am very interested to se how it compares to the XWT17 that you have tested.
Did you guys know Klein makes impacts, including a right angle impact? They use DeWalt batteries, I'd be really curious if they're just rebranded DeWalt tools or original designs.
It's female square drive, no real way to test it on our bolt, and even if we came up with something it'd be using an adapter which is sort of against channel rules because tests with adapters suck :P
@TorqueTestChannel Here i thought i was on to something. So the right angle is a no go (and their rather bizarre 7/16 female impact lol) but they do have a standard set up 1/4" and a 1/2" compact that may be worth a later video for more obscure options out there.. Thanks for the reply guys!
Hello my friend, your skidmore is too good I garet kame to test my impact wernch, please can you let me know, what is the part number of your gauge pressure indicator and cilinders specs? Thanks
I would get the dewalt, but Im already invested in milwaukee, and milwaukee will give you a free battery with the mid torque if you order from home depot.
Have you ever tested quality control by comparing the same tools to each other? I know it sounds redundant and expensive. I'd also be interested to see a tool that's been used a ton vs the exact same model brand new first try and maybe a normal use one that would be broken in but still like new. Might not be worth testing but I'm just curious.
I have a faint memory of one such video. But as that doesn't help anyone I started browsing the videos on this channel. Well that resulted in a big fat Zero. The closest I saw was a test of Metabo impacts, only one was supposedly made in Germany and the other in the PRC. Now did I really see a video on this channel where they tested two impacts or other tools of the same brand and model to see if the results varied? Perhaps I just dreamt that I remember seeing such a video, or perhaps it was in some other channel?
Well we show you the max power they make compared to each other for sure, I do believe we're #1 for that. But other great channels also show you other usage, features, day to day pros and cons which are also important. STR showed the Metabo times out beeping when removing things for example, which is a big downside for that one.
I purchased the ridgid when they are on sale on black friday and I am really happy with how they perform along with lifetime warranty which is very nice
Prices are always changing. We list prices as tested. Otherwise we'd have potentially hundreds of updates and rank changes each week. Our HD has it at $219 still tho
I mean, if you're looking for a reason to buy a German-made Metabo, it would be interesting to see how well it holds up to its Chinese-made counterpart. Though, my bet would be there is no measurable difference. No serious tool manufacturer is going to just slap their name on the side of whatever they find. That Uaoaii is a pleasant surprise though.

Other than that I haven't had any problems with it. I just ordered a battery adapter for it to try with my craftsman batteries. We'll see. I got the thing on sale for like $70 with battery and accessory.
Flex has new impact wrenches coming out soon they did a whole different mold so they are different from all their previous models
Yeah I bought uaoaii to have it in my car good enough waiting for it to arrive so I can test it on my cars
Time to sell "teh beans" battery pack to make my amazon tools amazing
Tried to order your rankings spreadsheet through Etsy and it just wouldn’t work. Thank heavens for PayPal…this is one of my favorite channels. Thanks.
Do the Uaoaii batteries work on Makita 18v tools? If so I might have to pick that kit up just as soon as Amazon decides they should sell it in Australia
I can’t wait to see you all get ahold of the new dewalt 1/2” announced yesterday, that claims 77% more power or something wild like that. I want to know!
th-cam.com/video/z6Nv3aCOGkg/w-d-xo.html
They somehow got and tested the first experimental version...its fkn insanity
@@KHALABEEB I saw that test too! I wonder if this is what that was. I hope they still have that one so they can see if they are in fact the exact same.
I am loving the metabo on this channel i am a big fan metabo all the way but is ther not a new high torque from metabo aswell.
Bring the beans!
I turn wrenches on the daily. Dewalt mid tq is where its at . I dont even own a high tq anymore ant no need with the dewalt .
Please test the snap on ct9038 against these it’s smaller but has nice power.
WHY DO I LOVE THIS CHANNEL ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, MORE THEN MY JOB ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
All my tools are milwaukee but dang I'm wondering if I should dab into some Dewalt for the dcf891. Bonkers!
Have y’all done a video on the Astro high flow swivel? Curious if it’s as good as people say it is.
Metabo HPT (and Metabo).. doesn't get the recognition they've earned...they're good..across the board not disappointing tools...IMO
6:00... Yahweh😂
LOL. I would've pronounced it You-Al-Og-Eeg-Goog-E-Ahh-Lu
I'd take my kobalts over about anything else. They make plenty of power and you could get smaller batteries for 10 bucks at lowes. Plus being able to take the tools back to lowes 3-5 years later and have them replaced is super nice.
wait how does lowes take old tools and replace them? even if they are still working?
@@NagashiChidorii they'll replace some tools up to 5 years
@@rc-daily even if the tools are working fine?
@NagashiChidorii why would they replace them If they're working fine? It's a warranty service not a free exchange....
Could you please tell me what the Dcf891 torque is with the 5ah power stack?
Out of curiosity about how long have the Seesii models been being used daily so far?
Good question. The WH710 for almost a year, though another model using the same batteries its battery has since stopped charging. The newer CP1B002 "Gen 3" for only about a month and half as it's new.
@@TorqueTestChannel almost a year of daily use on a cheap Amazon impact is very good I'd say
I didn't catch which battery was being used on the DeWalt - was it the 5AH XR?
Will you ever test the XPT02Z?
Want to see the new DeWalt dcf961 don't know if its out yet.but can't wait

You ever reviewed lidls own brand parkside?
Any idea about when the new M18 one key mid torque (Milwaukee 3062) will be released?
Can some explaine what impractical I need from m18 series to change tires of a modern normal car (2019) aluminum rims. I have the kit 502 from Milwaukee so Ingvar the 4ah batterier.
Why is the makita xgt just left out of the conversation, Best trigger, longevity, power etc
@torquetestchannel How do think the m18 mid torque will perform with the new forge battery
It's massively expensive and this metabo just beat it. FORGE won't help a mid torque like M18 much
I have both, Metabo doesn’t like rain and doesn’t come with a larger hanging hook.
This is just like ROBOT WARS, love'en it !
You should test the new blue m18
So the Kobalt makes it peak in fwd?? I just picked one up but may be returning if thats the case.
Man you have a great GF she’s a keeper… mine just buys random useless things like a flaming hot bubble gum and lingerie 😂
bruh amazon make fake impacts haha u got scammed
Have you updated the ridgid with the 8ah
Thanks for the reply guys!
hey man can try the new mid range kincrome it claims it has 950nm
Please test out ryobi's mid and high torque with there new and improved hp batteries believe to have the 2700 cells
Perhaps I just dreamt that I remember seeing such a video, or perhaps it was in some other channel?
can't wait for the surger batteries and to see what you guys put out numbers wise for the Milwaukee stuff
i watched so many reviews already my eyes are burning, i am not sure who to believe to.
Great info thank you!!
Love my DCF892
Great testing, as always! Anyone looking for a lightly used DCF899? I am looking to replaced it with a smaller impact wrench. 😅
Love your reviews 💙... thanks for the work you put into them!
Love it keep it up!
12:22 The DCF891 is now $199 at HD. Perhaps you would think about updating the lists with updated pricing whenever you test another tool?
Prices are always changing. We list prices as tested. Otherwise we'd have potentially hundreds of updates and rank changes each week. Our HD has it at $219 still tho
Very good Thanks
How does a $30 plug-in tool compare?
I mean, if you're looking for a reason to buy a German-made Metabo, it would be interesting to see how well it holds up to its Chinese-made counterpart. Though, my bet would be there is no measurable difference. No serious tool manufacturer is going to just slap their name on the side of whatever they find. That Uaoaii is a pleasant surprise though.
