Dude props to your daughter for that steady hand 😂 such a good job ngl. Video was such a relief, I’m not bad with mechanical jobs but anything to do with wires I’m terrified of due to how bad I am with it😅😂 very simple, easy to follow so thanks dude. Love the vids!!
U GOT MY PEDAL FOOT TINGLING BRO!!! My JB4 is in the mail and once again another video you’ve helped me get an idea of what to expect upon install! You da man!
Super informational as always bro and straight to the point! I have the GT model but either way still looking forward to doing the jb4! Another video on the map selections would be nice if possible!
Recent sub here, been watching all your K5 videos making a list of mods and slowly ticking through the list! Done BOV, blackouts, body cosmetics, infinity speakers. Next up is intake and JB4 (spark plugs too). BMS intake giveaway can tick one more box 👀. Keep up the great content!
Hey brother just a quick question so I received mines today but my connection to my sensor are completely different and aren’t meant for the Kia and I email than but now k don’t know what to do
Great video but I have a couple questions if you don't mind. Do you have to run 93 octane with the JB4 because the K5 is tuned for 87 octane. And what is the difference between the different maps? I don't understand what "maps" means but I'm definitely interested in more HP!
I have a 2023 Kia K5 GT 2.5L and would like to know if you always must use a higher fuel octane when using different maps. If you want to switch things off is it as easy as not opening the app or do you have to manually tell the car not to use the tune? How badly has this affected your mileage?
@@FebrezeInhaler you need to run the octane recommended by the map. It’s super easy to turn the tune off using the app on your phone. I didn’t lose any mileage at all unless I was driving the car hard
I know this is a weird question but i have a 2022 same color as yours. I would love to pay you to put the shark intake and bov on if possible. Thats also if you're close i live in Florida.
I just ordered my JB4 and the BMS adapter! Should I have gotten the bluetooth adapter and is that going to effect the performance of my mod? If you recommend me getting that adapter... how hard is is to install once I have the tune already installed?
@@zstampe ok thanks for the advice! I will order it ASAP because im not smart when it comes to stuff like this lol! I have the exact same car as you do! I'm loving all of these videos fr!
Hey, I just installed the JB4 yesterday and put it to map 2. I can feel the difference in the power, but my engine stutters now. Is it just spark plugs that I need? I run 93.
The real question is did it come with that jb4 sticker or did you order one off BMS? 😂 i have my order in the cart, hat and coffee cup to boot 😂 next on the list after i pick up some stinger wheels this weekend 👌

Watching this in the shop getting ready to get mine in finally, thanks again for all the videos Zach!!
You mentioned in the video that you would make a video on the difference of 0-60, that would be cool to see!
Heck yeah I plan on it. Need to buy a draggy or something
Thank you this was very helpful.
Very helpful video. Seems like a nice upgrade though it's not cheap. The price is what is really holding me back on trying this.
I don’t blame you, the power difference is super nice though.
@rdsrcreviews Im actually selling my jb4 for my k5 if your intrested. Selling the car so i just need to get rid of it👍🏾

Hey brother just a quick question so I received mines today but my connection to my sensor are completely different and aren’t meant for the Kia and I email than but now k don’t know what to do
Hey z have you ever ran e30 with jb4 and do you need special ethanol setup to do so as Kia says we can’t run ethanol
I run e30 a lot, you don’t need any special setup. The content of e85 is low enough that it’s ok to run

It’s too long to easily explain all the maps lol but the info is easily located on Google. You do have to run higher octane because of more boost etc.
Curious abt the 0-60?
