@@AlejandroSanchez-pl6jw That's a cultural thing. The truth is, we don't talk to boys about feelings, vulnerability, or emotional attachment. We talk about those things with girls because girls are enculturated to be the more responsible ones when it comes to their hearts. In the end, sex should be about communication and consent. We teach boys to ask; we teach girls to say yes or no. This is completely antiquated and ridiculous. All physical intimacy should be a conversation between consenting individuals who both understand how to advocate for themselves and agree to understand and support each other, even if they just choose to remain friends. Communication between friends and partners (regardless of sexual activity) is everything, and I have no idea why we don't teach it in school.

Coming from someone who lives in a Small Town, Not much to do but hang out at the Park(Which gets Dull) or Stay at Home(Which Drives ya Stir-Crazy), Not unlike a big city where their's lot's to do very Limited in term's of Activities could always get Creative or Go Workout at the Local Gym or Run on the Walk-Way bout it.

if you mean an outdated attitude from the mom, I honestly think she's right even setting aside my own personal beliefs. If someone demonstrates such an incomplete level of understanding about what sex is (understandably given she isn't even sixteen), then they aren't ready for it and they can't really consent in the way that I think most reasonable people would define consent.
The more outdatish lie of being "emotionally hurt" that's so bothersome. If I had a dime for everytime I heard that growing up🙄
Teach kids the value & facts. Most people have sex to have sex. Theres no emotional line. I was so scared to have sex because of the outdated "sex is a big deal" pep talk.
Once I had it, it really wasn't a big deal. It was with a stranger, I was confused afterwards but not "damaged" emotionally lol

@@WithJazzyx people have different attitudes about sex and that's where the emotional hurt comes from when both parties are not on the same page. Ex: one might view sex as just getting off/having fun and the other person views it as showing your vulnerability and love so they are hurt when the other person doesn't share the same feelings. Girls are especially taught not to have sex until they are in love. I've heard a lot of men and women say that sex is better when there is an emotional/love connection with their partner.
