I wasn't "Academically gifted" as a kid, and I'm still an anxious adults with dead hobbies/interests, and self hatred for every mistake. Dang man, why couldn't I have the gifted part too lol

Hey everyone, while I am tempted to just say "same", I really want to wish all of you the best. I personally had a terrible day yesterday but at some point at 5 am decided to just go out to one of the highest places in the city and watch the sunrise. That gave me a lot, and I can recommend it a lot. Instead of letting frustration and negative energy turn into pure autoaggression, try to funnel it into something positive like having a walk, running a bit, doing a workout, whatever. It'll refuel you for good much better than harming yourself in any way (thoughts count too).
I was a no-study, no-notes straight-A student from Kindergarten all the way up through 7th grade, and the only reason 8th grade wasn't a straight-A as well was because my Home Ec teacher was a sexist bint who gave all the guys straight Cs no matter what.
The girl who almost burned down the school making a burrito was given the highest grade in the class, by sheer chance that she was the only girl who *didn't* miss even a single class.
Grades 9-12, though? Yeah, my GPA dropped to a 2.9 during High School. Couldn't study for shit.

One time, when I was 4 years old, I had a dream about Power Rangers, but I couldn't finish the story. Then, when I was 7 years old, I went to sleep and dreamed the EXACT SAME DREAM AT THE EXACT MOMENT IT HAD STOPPED. When I woke up, I was like so confused that I couldn't sleep that day. Then, when I was 10 years old, the SAME THING happened. And that time I finished the dream completely. Also I had a dream once where I knew I was dreaming, so I just made it the craziest nonsensical fantasy I could. Then I woke up, but it was Saturday, so I went back to sleep and started the same dream again.
