I’ve been pumping and pouring residential concrete for 20 years for myself, 35 years in the trade. We also do a fair amount of demo. Bro, that's how i started. I didn't know anything. I was 20, im almost 27. I took that leap. I'm in construction. I remodel, i do framing, sheetrock hanging, drywall taping, texture and paint. Everything is possible, we just limit ourselves. Keep it up! 💯

Great work. I’ve been really curious as to why you don’t put compacted base material. Care to explain? Here in the Bay Area my dad and I always lay down a couple inches of base rock and compact it with a Wacker before rebar.
Anthony, can you explain the rationale behind using expansion joints or not using them? In this video you guys used an expansion joint against the sidewalk but not against the block wall and/or the small side slab. Thanks!
Expansion joints are for planned cracks. All concrete cracks. The driveway was on a slope with a lot of pressure at the bottom. We installed expansion foam to give the concrete room to shrink and expand when curing.
