The combination of the narrating and quality of work is what makes these videos great. I'm not in the concrete field but really enjoy the vids! Good stuff Anthony 👍🏼
Anthony, love how transparent you are with the business side of things, diligently answering questions and how many videos you're putting out. Great looking work, dude! Keep going. 🤘 ~ Joe G. from Philly, PA
Anthony my friend !!!! U n Javier doing what u guys do best !!!!! U on the bobcat n Javier n his helper killing it on the cement !!!! Beautiful work Anthony badass as work !!!! My friend !!!!👍
I sit in an office all day but i remember being a kid helping my old man mix and make cement. A circle of cement, add water and make the circle smaller and smaller till it is all mud. This reminds me if my old man.
Another cracking instillation bro, was gunna ask what mix design do you use? As mentioned in one of your comments looks like moulded clay, the finish unreal 💥
As long as there's work, we'll keep working. The tough don't stop. Guys like you are thankful for the work you have while a lot of people are complaining that they have to work during this "crisis".
That came out real nice. Over hear in the North east, freezing temps cause alot of cracking in the winter months. So masons like my dad will use aggregate first, and then concrete over it. He also used the helicopter alot, but I don't remember if the helicopter was just for foundations, or also concrete driveways.
Nice job. Love watching your videos. I have a small Contracting company in Pittsburgh with small crew 10 yr in biz, I learn good tips from you. thanks. And what u said about small job being filler jobs. Same thing with us too. Same with the low risk ,and your in and out and paid. Alot of guys are just so hard headed they cant expect that fact that there doing a smaller job, but yet mostly more lucrative.
Good to see the attention to quality and I appreciation the description of process. I'm interested to hear your stance on control joints and expansion joints. In Minnesota here it's a different animal however I'm sure you appreciate some relief more settling. Keep it going brother!
Forget the Hollywood stars - Anthony should buy a mini-bus and run Best of The West sightseeing tours of his legendary flatwork. Recorded commentary, cold beers, souvenir trowel and t-shirt package.
I do high end residential landscaping. Most of our jobs are 100-300k. We are not allowed to work where I am now because landscaping isn't considered an essential service. We have now switched over to digging foundations and demo for now as it's still allowed. Gotta adapt.
Hoping for you to start doing podcasts or live commentary so we can get to know you better and get some more knowledge about concrete construction. Great job with your channel keep it up. Love the videos
You the man! I appreciate when a guy doesnt kill his men and appreciates them as workers and trusts them... Makes things easier, products come out better, more money is made. Work smarter not harder👍
I agree small jobs to add up !! But being in pennsylvannia with the freeze thaw doing residential driveways unless you write in your contract about using rock salt or other de icers you can lose alot of money !
Just subbed now after watching like 3 of your videos and noticed that you really have a cool concept going here. Its something very calming about your videos. You have something interesting to watch and you giving us all the information throught. really good!
I have to say it's relaxing to watch this and it's like looking at art when seeing the finished product. One day I would love to do my driveway like that. As a small businessman myself, let me say great job and continued good luck.
I am always amazed how people like you give so much valuable information for free. Personally, I doubt any other culture but American does this. That's just one of the reasons why I love America and I am proud to say that I am an loyal American which I chose to do by my convictions not by being born somewhere by an accident of nature. I am of Hispanic ancestry but anglos are the best developed societies and I have the "cojones" to say so.
Very nice job. I am in the process of getting quotes for 160 sq yds. Consisting of a double driveway, new font porch, and about 1/2 of the rest in the backyard (as as a patio slab). What kind of cost should I be expecting?
Im A full time Tattoo Artist dont Know Anything About concrete or any thing About construction.. But this video's are of the hook got me watching them one after Another you got A new subscriber bro stay blessed🙏.
Enjoy your channel. On your broom finish, its looks more consistent when the broom finish is consistent in one direction. I been called out on on inconsistent broom stroke.
Anthony, the credits to Javier are well deserved. You may consider to run written credits at the end with all collaborators and their job. It will be a nice acknowledgment.
Hey man. I'm pretty new to construction and concrete. Could you add in some definitions of the words you use in the concrete talk. It'd help me out with learning more about this kind of stuff. Enjoy your videos.
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete I have no idea about the concrete field.. I think that it is possible to crack the lined part first due to the accumulation of small vibrations for a long time. But it's amazing that the line can help prevent cracks. Thanks for the answer.
YEAH man ... loving this vid came up in this other TH-cam account too. all the vids are fun to rewatch. Hope your week is starting off great ... HELLO from Tuesday December 28, 2021. 31.k subs
Not having spacers under the steel will make the steel settle lower in the concrete but as you say it will never really not be covered in concrete to some degree. All I'm saying is spacers keep it up a certain distance from what would otherwise be the steels settle height. . . its what their made for after all.
Lovely job. From pumping, how quick does it go off before you can hand float it while kneeling on it? Also I agree about smaller jobs. One job can lead to another and can lead to bigger jobs because you don't know who knows who. Keep working, keep safe guys.
Job looks so great. You got great worker`s they take pride in there work Gee hope you buy them a beer after great job ? You do very well in Australia with your business. Like how you do the Video and the voice over its so relaxing watching the video not over powering its great to watch your videos.

Looks nice. Do you always broom the finish because your guys do a really nice job troweling the surface. It looks so smooth.

와우...정말 대단합니다. 08:45 But why do you draw a line on concrete? Is it due to drainage? Or just a design?
It's to help prevent cracking.
