    From what I know, the Nzema language is a language that provides better understanding to sentences, better expressions and is a language for learning.

      Same over here. I was born in Ivory Coast. French french is what we spoke at home. I understand the language but I can't speak it fluently. When I moved to the States, my brother-in law (an nzima from Ghana) told me he would communicate with me only in nzema or english. That helped me a lot!!! Our language is BEAUTIFUL and we shouldn't be ashamed to learn, speak it. or even sing in nzema.
      Twi is a popular language in Ghana. But the nzema people shoudnt give up the nzema language by only speaking twi. Or we (nzema) and our language will be forgotten little by little.

    Thank you. We must promote the nzema language. We need to talk and sing more in nzema. Our language needs to be heard. Our future generation needs it....

    I get confused between the Akan and Guan because it appears they overlap. Are the Efutu and Nzema part of the Akan ethnic group?

    • @tvs9978
      @tvs9978 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Efutus are Guans. The Guans were the original indigenes of Ghana ie they were already living on the land when the other major tribes Akans, Gas, Ewes etc migrated into the middle and Southern parts of Ghana. The Efutu were the original people living along the coast in the Central Region and their lands were eventually taken over by the Fante so naturally over time they have picked phrases from each others languages
