@Tsar da Meezie - I am writing a book on the History of Nzema people ( both Ghana and Ivory Coast)- migration, culture, great people, please if you have any information I will like to connect. Thanks
The entire history is in my book and on this channel. Because, the Nzemas ate not a unique group on their own like the Europeans made it seem. Every tribe comes from a bigger tribe. If you are in Accra, you can schedule a date to meet me, and go through the book to do your project. This said, most Nzema resourced persons especially from the Bureau of Ghana Languages, would still refer you to me, since they have seen my work and are well aware of its rich contents and vivid research. Of course, yes! There are so many Nzema lessons on this channel and more to follow. Ma certo, ci sono molti lezione della lingua Nzema su questo canale
Very good video, I am Anyin from Ivory Coast. Nzema and Anyin language have many similarities. We have an Nzema history professor from Ivory Coast who said that Nzema and Anyin people both speak Anyi language.
Thank you so much, I’m very grateful for finding this. My twin and I use to speak Nzema until age 10 when our parents died. We lived with my Mum’s friend from the north who does not speak Nzema so we were made to speak only English. Now we have kids and are giving them Nzema names but we can’t speak but only understands few words when someone speaks it.
Sure! I'm in talks with one Mr. Evans and the next Nzema lesson comea off hopefully in 2 weeks time. The closest language to Nzema, comes off this Sunday. So, I'm still working. Thank you
Also, there are lots of Nzema lessons on this channel. Kindly 1. type LEARN GUAN WITH HUNIAH in the youtube search box. 2. Scroll to playlist 3. Select Nzema lessons
Thank you for making this video, i was searching for someyhing like this. At the moment, I don't know if much Nzema resources. That's why I'm trying my best to create but it's not receiving much attention. You've inspired me to continue
@@Huniah_Guan yes i found kasahorow and buy some books but that didn't help with how to pronounce the words thats why i am so happy whit youre videos so keep up the good work and thanks for youre replay
Yeah! Very interesting. I remember stating in the Guam history video that Guans might have had contact with most of the Northern Ancestors in the process of migration
The guans and akans almost have the same language and few differences. Its almost like twi is a dialect of guan. They are also genetically related. One people.
100% Nzema but still trying to learn the language. from my inquiries it seems most of the Nzema migrated to town in the western such as Takoradi , cape coast and surrounding town and therefore picking up the Fante and TWI. Most of the Fante's I have come into contact with are actually Nzemas. Very Keen to learn this language and French.
You seem well informed and I had always suspected that Nzema had elements of Guan within it. I am also surprised to learn it is related to Chakosi spoken by the Chereponi. This could also suggest that the Nzema had been settled in Ghana for a very long time, ahead of many other groups
The spellings of our local dialogue keep changing because the computer is not made for our dialogue; alphabet.eg.E in place of £ is a big problem for our language.
