I had Montero 2013 3.2 DID GLX. It was doing 5.5/7km in colombo, sometimes it goes nearly 7.5kmpl. Outstation it does 11.5kmpl if you cruise 100kmph. If you go 60/90kmph then it did 12.5/13kmpl. I have all the meter readings, fuel pumped, etc details which can prove. The mileage was 159000km when I am selling it. Super awesome vehicle. (I heard that some tamil businessmans are using to go to jaffna and it does nearly 15kmpl which i have not experienced. )

Adding some missing points
Shogun comes with a Euro5 engine including a DPF
Option variants are SG1, SG2, SG3, SG4 and SG4 Black Edition
Limited edition Diamond (can’t remember exactly)
Vehicle in this review is SG3. SG4 comes with rear entertainment system including a play station in some cases 😁
Rear signal and tail lights come to bumper only and combination lamp only consist of reverse and break lights
Third mirror and bonnet/hood ornament are fitted later as it is not an option in UK version

Yes brother. You are correct. But this vehicle is manufactured in Japan and imported as a brand new vehicle for permit by United motors. Third mirror and bonnet ornament was fitted From Mitsubishi Japan Plant when importing. There are shoguns manufactured in UK and they do not have a third mirror and the bonnet hood. Yes, combination lamp only consist of reverse and break lights.
Option variants are available as you mentioned. But any option can be fitted from the factory to any grade as per wish.There is a limited edition diamond grade for the first facelift models. The Shogun Black edition is based on the top-spec SG4 trim level, which already comes with sat-nav, a reversing camera and leather upholstery. The Black adds a matt-black finish to the grille, head and tail-light surrounds, foglight bezels, side-steps, door handles, rear roof spoiler and 20-inch alloys.
