Really great. I thank the humble pro student and the elite pro teacher. Great team work to the both of you. Sharing knowledge is the advancement of any species.
Nice video! Thank you for sharing content like this. I have seen people fly through the barricade, but it happens so fast, you are left thinking…how did they do that? This was slow motion and instructions on “how they do that” 👍
Great example of planning and efficiency of movement. I love the added comment about body positioning while standing. The natural point of aim/relaxed body positioning podcast you guys did has made the single biggest change to my shooting in the last 6 months. 👍
My time was between 65-80 seconds. After practicing the steps in this video for 10 minutes I got down to 48 seconds, using a D.F.A.T. dry fire exercise aid. Long way to go, but still a huge improvement. I discovered I had too much git lite in my bag, foot placement was terrible going up to the stage and transitions were complicated.
Great video! For a new PRS shooter, this really shows that by breaking down the movements and positions into pieces you can refine them and make your movements more efficient. Thanks Francis and Chad!
Amazing tutor, everything is spot on, and kudos to the shooter as well, being open and honest about where you are currently with your skill set is so crucial for improvement! 😮
Really like this one. I am learning that the positional stuff is kicking my butt. On a mission to learn it! I think I will build one of these and work in into my practice time. The tips on moving quickly and planning ahead to maximize movements is great. The insights I need to get myself in better shape. I will be posting videos of my progress as I'm going through and learning this sport. I do well in the prone stages, time to get my positional stages better!! Thank you for the tips MDT team!!
@@MDTTAC Yes, I used this to show my dad how that wall is made. Going to build my own so I can work those skills. I do well when I'm on target, but need to improve the speed moving and getting stable. This should be great way to practice!
I'm too short and not strong enough to make this barricade work for me. The best I can do is just under 60 seconds. Even so, I learned a few things I can improve on. I hope to be able to bring it to 50s at least.
@@MDTTAC Thanks, but I still need to improve. 88 days to go until worlds. Just under three months to grow longer legs so that I can take those huge steps. :)
This is great info. What bag and fill were you using? What are the chances of you guys doing a video on how to move the rifle and bag together? I haven’t figured that one out.
Please, please, please do a video on how to pair a barreled action with a chase. Trying to figure out what footprint rifles run. Everything chase takes a Rem 700. Then I look up what action fit the platform and I don't find any. Ok so I pick a action in my budget Howa carbon fiber barreled action. Non of the chases I want fit it. I keep going to Savage arms sence the unity of Savage set ups in MDT. From B22 options to the new Savage 110 ultralight elite. Matching action to chase seams to elude me. Thank you MDT team.
@@MDTTAC Yes, and I received a phone call a while back. I don't want another update. Refund me all of my money or send me my comp brake on Monday, January 22nd.
This has to be one of your best videos

I got to try this out today at our local club match. I dropped 13 seconds from my usual time and that's without practising beforehand!
That's awesome!!!!🎉 Congrats! Keep hammering!
@FrancisColonPRS congrats on the AG win, well deserved!
@@k2svpete appreciate that man! Have an awesome holiday season!
Would it be beneficial to use something like the Area419 railchanger and attaching the schmedium to it? Instead of picking the bag up
Just actually moving with a purpose instead of lazily moving around is what saved his time “elite”
It’s like a dance almost.

What is mounted in front of the elevation turret? Is that a turret magnifier or some kind of red dot to help target acquisition?
Its a magnifying glass for the turret
What’s the the clamp on device behind the rear scope ring ?
Its a magnifying device to see the elevation turret better
Who makes the magnifier?
Can you also tell me who makes the grip. I have the same chassis.
Was this using a 10 inch plate at 400 yard ?
Yep!
The reason they changed this stage this year haha
