Now do a long winded video on reading wind while on the clock. That's where I lose most of my points.

    Excellent!
So, as a lefty, that second position on the rock pile looks very challenging. Perhaps a good follow-up video idea would be how to approach barricades that are not designed for your strong side.

Good luck! Have fun, most importantly. I did my first year with a local group Sept to July. I made videos about it all reviewing each month's match and the stuff I was doing to get ready for them. Hoping that it was noticeable that I improved from the start to finish, lol.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Happy to help a fellow newbie to the PRS game!

Great video and explanation, what is the part number for the grey pad you have on the bottom of your ACC Elite butt stock?

At 7:20 what is it about the bipod contacting the rock that would send the round high? In a free floated chassis I wouldn't expect that to make a difference

If the legs on the bipod are slightly "loaded" trying to wedge the rifle low enough to get on target, it will tend to spring upward more during recoil. It could be up/left/right or any combination. It's mainly to prevent odd, unintentional contact between your equipment and objects.

These apply great to shooting at a concrete range, with consistently level ground.

PRS the acronym does not really fit. If precision is the main goal as implied by the name then wouldn't you be shooting bench or prone?
I'm of the mind that PRS should be stand for "Positional Rifle Shooting" or "Practical Rifle Shooting" and not Precision rifle shooting because that's what you are doing, shooting from various different positions.
Benchrest technically should be called "Precision Rifle Shooting"..as shooting prone or benchrest is the best way to achieve precision.
This has always been in the back of my head bugging me. hah Not sure who came up with that naming standard anyway!

PRS actually stands for Precision Rifle Series, which is a competition series that is run here in the US and around the world. www.precisionrifleseries.com/
