Thanks! And no, I really havent done any work besides adding some rock walls haha. Probably wont make an update vid until I get more of the scenery done! Thanks for showing your interest in my layout progress!

do you replace the mth boards usually? just replaced an mth big boys drive and board. can't deal with dcs

Nope. For one, I actually enjoy protosound sound effects, and i dont want all my engines in my fleet to sound nearly identical. Secondly, decoders these days are ridiculously priced. I have like 25 locos that still need decoders. At $100 per decoder, Im looking to be paying $2500 for decoders alone, minus speakers and keep alives. So any engine that has factory sound (no matter how bad) im pretty much gonna keep the factory board. Bc I dont want to invest even more into decoders when theyre "good enough". Cheers!
