Very good work…replacing the stock speaker with a Scale Sound Systems design should also be well worth your time to improve the sound.

Hey! i personally dont get the hype of scale sound speakers, they dont sound any better to my ear. theyre just generic sugar cube laptop speakers with the price marked up 300% and sold as a "name brand". Dont let me stop you if you can hear the difference, but for someone with shit ears like me, ill pass.

@@trainman440 They’re good don’t get me wrong, but those comfortable assembling their own speaker enclosures can get just as good sound for the fraction of the price. I purchase some of my speaker drivers from Digikey and use them with 11x15, 13x18, and 14x24 drivers where appropriate. I don’t buy SSS’s Micro Range speakers because of how costly they are for their size

Scalesoundsystems is hit or miss, most of the time they have the best sound quality. But somethimes the stock speakers are just as good, case and point: scaletrains.

That being said I'd recommend listening to some sound samples that sss recorded and hear the differences (usually more fuller sound and extra bass).

@@CynderHound I keep the Scaletrains stock speakers because they are 2 8 ohm 0.5 watt 11x15 drivers wired in parallel for a 4 ohm 1 watt load. The SSS single 13x18 driver setup for comparison is rated 8 ohms 1 watt
