New subbie here. I wanted to say this is an awesome video and explains so much. At the moment my shop is only printables but I bought a Cricut explore 3 so stickers will be coming. I had planned on doing regular lettermail but its good to hear al the options

Very helpful. Not many channels for Canadian shop owners. I am trying to open my shop and I’m having issues getting to the last step… did you have any issues as a Canadian opening a shop?

hey, I do not understand the difference between mailing to the US with stamps vs Small Packet US Air. Do you only use stamps for letter mail and Small Packet for bubble mailers?
Letter mail - stamps
Bubble mailers- small packet because you would use too many stamps on a bubble mailer.
TBH you can add stamps to anything you would just need to know the right amount and how many :P

No you can't since it's just a stap. Tracking in Canada is quite a bit of money sadly. But I'm happy you found my video and that it was helpful.
Nice to know that you can use a normal stamp on a rigid mailer to Canada. It's cool that the rigid mailers count as oversize mailers and you can still use postage stamps for it! Would 8.5x11 rigid mailers count as oversize mail too?
Thanks happy you found the video helpful. I have a feeling it may cost more with 8.5x11 like I talk about in the video its always best to go into your post office for your first mailer and get it sized and mailed that way so that you get the right price, or go in and ask how many stamps it would be for that size, with one of the mailers on hand.

hey I try and print the shipping labels just like you have but on my rollo printer but it is only printing out the bottom part of the shipping order. I have changed my settings to 4x6 but it still does it. if you have any tips please let me know
I would say search rollo and shipping labels are you sure that your printer and paper is 4x6? maybe its a diffrent. Can you tell me the postage value for .92 booklet stamps. Is the postage value $ .92 or $1.07 per stamp
You can just go on the cananda post website for domestic staps a book of 10 are 9.20 and USA book is $11.65 for 6 stamps
Just wondering! When selling on Etsy, are packing slips generated when someone buys something off Esty or do you need to put them together like the address in a software and then print it on labels?
I take the address and add it to my dymo software and print l. This is my label printing software that came with my printer. But you can also take a buyers address and just print it on your normal printer if you need.
hi candi, where do you buy your rigid mailers? i've been looking around at websites, but the ones based in the US are incredibly expensive for shipping, (e.g $30 for a pack of 100, $40 for shipping...) so is there a canadian-friendly supplier you grab your mailers from? thank u!

Great video! I would like to add that the Canada Post small business savings don't apply to any stamp purchases (unfortunately...); but they do work for any postage that results in a shipping label!
On another note, the stamp roll dispenser is very cool and I think I'll see if I can get a few for myself!

might be an odd question, but do you include a return address when you just send out items in regular envelopes with a stamp? if so do you use a P.O box?

I always add a return address, you always should even with letter mail. No I don't use a PO box I just use my home address atm but looking to use my canada post FlexDelivery Address its kinda like a PO box. Why

your video was so helpful! I just had a question on stamps, I went to canada post and they had these 'permanent' stamps, could I use those internationally?
No you would need to buy International stamps that cost a little bit more the permanent stamps are only for within Canada . I'm so happy that my video was helpful thanks for the wonderful comment

Hi amazing video, but let's say someone is not happy with the purchase? How would things be dealt with if you send it with a postage stamp?
You can do that for sure, with my stickers I just refund the item and not the shipping and let them keep the item. but that is what works for me

Wondering as I am new to Etsy , live in Canada, I make and sell greeting cards. These can be shipped in letter envelopes and fit the dimensions of letter mail. However when listing on Etsy it doesn’t give me the option of using letter mail in Canada or the US. How do I do this?
You would just you a stamp and not use etsy shipping since they arent used for letter mail only for small packets and bigger items. Hope that helps

@@CandiWare are you able to show a picture of shipping when you list. Or settings. When I make a shipping profile and do fixed cost it will do it but then says I’m missing information if I select that profile.

I heard you can't mail anything that's not paper to the US with lettermail. Have you had any issues with pins in letter mail going to the US? Thank you!
If it can fit in the envelope then your fine I haven't had a problem. If your worried go to your local post office to mail something out to see what the price comes to/ opinions
Hi Candice! Have you had any issues recently shipping out your stickers to the US using just letter envelopes and stamps? I’ve read forum posts where sellers said CPost has been cracking down on merchandise being sent through Lettermail (when it’s technically only for documents) and returning envelopes to senders. Has this been an issue for you?
I have never heard of this before. And how would they know? As far as I know cp doesn't care and if it fits in a letter mail then w/e. I've been mailing all over the world with my stickers for 3 years and I haven't had problems. Hope that helps.

How do you deal with the customs when sending stickers to the US with just a US stamp? Do you ever have packages lost, is it often?
I don't get many packages lost at all.
Because it’s just a stamp meaning letter mail you don’t have to worry about customs

So you need to put a shipping label aswell as a stamp?
No I just like to print off the buyers address if it's just letter mail just a stamp

np you only need a shipping label if your mailing something that wouldn't fit into a letter mail I hope that clears things up for you
@@CandiWare What if you’re sending letter mail to the US or Internationally in general? Just another stamp or?
@@zaboobebop Did you watch my video I talk about this when mailing what kind of stamp you need and how that works, you just have to make sure you use a letter mail stamp for the US or and International stamp.
