Installing LED Tail Lights on 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer CJ

Finally a new vid of the car. Took a while to get the car registered in VIC but here we are. Hopefully the next vids will be made shortly and plenty more on the way.

recently bought a lancer with the led tail lights, but the break lights dont work! the resistor looks burnt out so ima replace that! could that be the reason why? pls help 🙏🏼

Nice video! 👍 But the led 3rd brake lamp seems to have a misaligned single bulb near the center. Mine is the same. All lancers i've seen with the same 3rd brake led lamp has this issue so it seems that its global. I'm from the 🇵🇭 by the way.
P.S. we both have the same vland set up for the rear.

I might be one of the only ppl who really likes the original lights. Something about big round circular lights i like. Dont see it on many cars. Reminds me of the supra or skyline a little bit. Im keeping mine with the standard lights.

Yea I do like the oem ones too. I do prefer the shape of the these LED ones as they stick out a little bit

@@projectcararchive7909 Thats fine everyone likes differnt things. I do want to replace the front lights with leds tho. They are so dim that driving at night i pretty much have to use the full beam to see.

apparently it is really hard to see when reversing at night because the lights are very dim, is this true?

In some darker conditions the reverse lights aren’t the greatest but the brake lights do make up for it and if you have or install a reverse camera it is manageable.

Got them from a company called illumo. But they are just the VLAND taillights so you could buy direct through them if you wanted

Got them from illumo. Company in Melbourne. They are just VLAND taillights so if you do a search for those you should be able to find them

Not yet. Will see how it goes over winter as it hits the 1 year mark
