Doris! Please read this!!! Very important! I installed all the rear bars
from BMR and the cradle lockout. I also did the def lockouts. It
doesn't change the ride quality. You do not have to remove the rear
cradle!!! Let the rear cradle down 3 inches install the upper bushings.
Then tighten them up and replace the bottom part. On the front cradle
bushings you need to get 2 new top bolts. Lower the front 3 inches. Cut
off the 2 existing bolts. Reason is they are installed the wrong
direction so you cant remove them without lowering the whole cradle. You
install the new bolts rear to front. Opposite how the factory installs
them. Install the upper bushings. Then you have to drill and remove the
factory limiter on the bottom. Once removed install new bottom . All I
did was remove the rear wheels and tires. If you call frank at BMR he
will tell you the same thing. I went to BMR and purchased the new pars
and met the guys. You get a 10 percent discount for cash and you pick
up. I live in SW Florida. Do not listen to the directions on the
website. Frank will tell you that too. Have fun. The rear upper bars
were harder to install then the cradle lockout. Mar

    • @woman.driven
      @woman.driven  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Hm.. that makes it a bit easier. I will reach out to Frank for a bit more clarification. I was under the assumption the existing bushings are a pain to remove like other cars. If that's not the case, I can see how just lowering a bit works out. If you can, email me: woman.driven@gmail.com I have a few other questions.

Not a bad idea to thread a lugnut on one the lug bolts before disconnecting the caliper to prevent the rotor from shifting and falling on a foot
Found this: DBA recommends 13 Nm or 9.6 ft lb of torque when tightening the NAS nut and bolt assembly. Please refer to the Fitment Guide for more information.
