Anita......you are a life saver. For the last 3 years I have had a host of symptoms from drops in sugar to nerve ending tingles to electrical zaps.....I've been tested to the tune of $20,000 plus. I felt like a patient of House....lol. The one thing I told all the doctors was it seems to be coming from my gut.
Every time there was a symptom(s), my gut went crazy just before. It also triggered anxiety attacks. I've seen FOUR GI specialist at 3 hospitals. No one had a clue. I was told it was just SIBO run amok. I knew better. I knew how important the gut was and how much it controlled.
This issue put me out of work for 5 months with drastic weight lost and anxiety attacks and so on. My primary Dr said the body can only take so much and I was being hit from every direction. I started researching on my own and found that there was a bit of info on intestinal permeability, but who was giving right or wrong info. OMG it was so frustrating.
I learned this was on a microbiological level, so that helped. I found you purely by accident and with your background and no bs attitude about giving out correct info....I listened. I am so glad. I've started the L Glutamine per your instructions.
It's been 5 days and Damn!! I can feel the difference. The continuous bloating has begun to recede. The constant flatulence has been reduced by at least half. Some of the muscle aches and nerve tingles have calmed down.
The thing about gut issues I've learned... and it was a biggie for the drs, were....some of the symptoms I had were being mimiced. From hypoglycemia, Type2 Diabetes, major brain fog, neuropathy in the feet and groin and other odd symptoms. None of which I have, but had the symptoms. I felt like I was metamorphing.
It was so bad.....I asked God to take me. I hope this info about "Leaky Gut" gets to the common health system and fast. So many have not been diagnosed or misdiagnosed and after what I've gone through and still, to some degree, this has to be priority one.

Hello, how many grams of L-glutamine did you take per day?

    • @e.b.4379
      @e.b.4379 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

MIPED - if you are looking to repair your gut lining, you need to feed your intestinal tract with quite a substantial amount of glutamine.
There are several L-Glutamine protocols out there for this. I've been trying the best one that I'm currently on, thanks to an article I found on the subject. Please see below and hope it helps and good luck.
"One of the most popular protocols was pioneered by Charles Poliquin, a well respected athletics training authority. His suggestion is to take 80g of glutamine a day for 5 days, then to taper off to a long term dose of 10-20g.
During the 5 day megadose phase, it is recommended that you take the glutamine in small sub-doses throughout the day. For example, 10g (4 flat teaspoons), every hour or so.
I find it much better to work up to a megadose of 40 g over 4 days. Then to sit on 40 g for 5 days. Then taper off to a smaller long term dose of 5-10g a day - depending on how well you recover. I personally stick at 10g a day, almost as an insurance policy of sorts.
During the first 4 ‘build up’ days you go from 10 to 20 to 30 to 40g. The reason I love this build up is it gives your body a chance to get used to the glutamine and see how it sits with you. Many people find going from 0 to 80g basically overnight can play a little havoc with their stomach."

Did you make an error on the dosage? And Did you mean to say ".05" grams per kg weight, instead of "0.5" grams? Because 0.5 gms per kg weight will be for a 55 kg person, 27.5 grams, which is approx 14 servings of the powdered form (no capsules) of 2g per serving supplements. That would mean 1 loose powder supp will not last 10 days and that would be an awful lot of powder at once. Even your recommendation supp at your site (of 100 servings (5g per serving, ) will only last you (55kg person) about 4 days (100g/25g per day=4) . Am I missing something? Please clarify and confirm. Thanks.
Update 4/2022: Upon revisiting, it appears she meant 0.5 /kg (see her description). And from my research, safe levels max at 10-30g per day (30g being the therapeutic dosage), regardless of higher weight that would calculate above that amount.

Right? So I started also to wonder if she was in error also... or if she was working on numbers from a animal or human study? (i.e., if it was a mouse study the dose per kg is much higher than the human equivalent dose per kg.

Stop eating leafy green vegetables, or anything with insoluble fibers. Eat steamed fish, stewed chicken, white rice porridge or also known as congee. Basically eat ‘easier to digest foods’, & drink raw goats milk kefir from grass fed goats, I will guarantee, you will be regular & stool will also formed properly.

After you are cleared from hpylori after treatment with your dr. You now have to repair your stomach lining and G.I. hpylori messes up your lining in the stomach Lglutamine is the way to go!!! Try it!!!! If you can get a pharmaceutical grade which is more pure which is better. Its affordable go by the format she stated its 0.5 ounces per your body weight in kilograms she says it this video. You got to eat clean too give your stomach and intestines a break for all it has been through, eat stuff that dont trigger you to feel sick or to have symptoms until you get to a point where the l glutamine is helping i would say a couple months before you start adding stuff back in but do it one thing at a time. Im going through similar but my doctor says i dont have h pylori so its definitely imbalance somewhere i would do bone broth too if you could with l glutamine but definitely do the l glutamine wayyyyy more like she said. You will heal 😁

    Hello, hope you are well.
I started the candida diet last month. I was feeling better for a while then I started to develop thrush symptoms to foods gradually as I continued my diet so I don't know what is happening. I don't remember what I did prior to starting the diet I was starting to get worse and WORSE to foods I normally had including wheat. Then I decided to give the diet a try. Three weeks into my diet I got thrush symptoms to salmon fish (which I didn't have before I started the diet).
I am on the diet and having broccoli, eggs, buckwheat, lettuce, radish, spinach) alongside probiotic capsules and I take some form of antifungal (pau darco, clove tea, ACV).
So I take antifungal in morning then I have probiotic 1h later before eating buckwheat. Then I get flare ups which I don't understand is it the antifungal or the food I am reacting to?
It started with quinoa then eggs and now salmon fish and I honestly don't understand what is happening. I started to breakout since the diet started. I wake up with thrush down there and it annoys me. I searched everywhere and no one has what I have. I am crying for help. I don't have funds to visit naturopath. I am losing weight ridiculously and my ribcage is popping out with clothes on. I want this thing to work and change my life. I haven't cheated once my cravings aren't there but I miss foods cus now I am limited to foods above. I cannot have coconut oil/butter/fatty foods, I always get white heads when I have oily foods like avocados, hemp seeds, almonds, it feels like my body doesn't like that and I get thrush symptoms and I have flare ups to s. dermatitis. I also find echinacea tea gives me patchy skin (flare) I used to drink before I started the diet and my thrush was under control but it comes back if I stop. Now when I have it I actually got thrush symptoms once then I stopped.
Recently I took oregano and I was fine I then had food and I got thrush symptoms again! Is the candida growing to foods I eat after antifungal?
I am baffled and is my body reacting to this diet or is it affecting my candida in growth or halting it's growth?
Any thoughts is HIGHLY APPRECIATED🙏😊 Thanks
P.s. I have IBS, seb dermatitis, v.candidadiases, rhinitis, bad breath, itchy ears (drainage in morning) and get flare ups to oily fatty acid foods I mentioned above.
