  • It's Super Sculpey that I use most of the time for prototype.
    The video shown how to make a figurine hand step by step. Using the same methods to make the hand bigger or smaller according to the proportion and the scale of your figurine. Enjoy!

    Your style here is very similar to the way I try to digitally sculpt the hands of my goblin pixies. Love the plane changes, at the wrist particularly, and the fingers are perfect. Very delicate work.

      It's a good way to fast hold the clay in place. If you accidentally drop to much, use tissue paper to wipe, or sharp it with knife when it drops on the surface.

    Great tutorial, I'm starting now and it was really useful for me Thank you!
    Which clay do you use? I'm using the fimo soft but is really too soft, I'd like to find something more rigid.

    • @AngelbeingWorkshop
      @AngelbeingWorkshop  8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +jscancado You are welcome! I use Super Sculpey, it's soft too but do need some methods to work with it. I put armatures and apply with clay, baked first, so I don't hold on soft clay to sculpt.

    That's absolutely amazing thank you so much! So can you add unbaked clay to baked clay and rebake again? You're very skilled, thanks again 😀

    • @AngelbeingWorkshop
      @AngelbeingWorkshop  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can do that! I normally sculpt my figurines in sections to get more details. And baked for a couple times when each parts finished. Some even went in and out of the oven for more than 10 times.
      The point is, each time of baking, lower down the temperature a bit and shorten the baking time according to the clay box said, cover the baked area with aluminum foil (aluminum baking sheet), especially thin and pointed areas to prevent burning. Only expose the unbaked soft clay area. That should keep you put in and out of the oven to probably 15 times or more.
      But the color of baked clay might go deeper. Each oven may vary, you'll need to test it and get a good temp and time for the balance.

    • @AngelbeingWorkshop
      @AngelbeingWorkshop  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For small figurine under 8", I normally use jumbo paperclips. You may use a couple more to make it stronger. The paperclips are thin but strong enough comparing with same thickness of iron wires. Any bigger sizes, I might go with thick steel rods, copper rods. Thanks for taking your time watching my video!!
