Thanks man. Have the same truck in a 2019 and am looking for 35" tires thinking of running those exact tires. Looks great and now I know how they will look on my truck. Thanks for the video
Listen ,I have been researching tires for about a year . Reading reviews and watching videos . They are expensive ,but i wanted the best HYBRID TIRES ,so i took a chance.......and they are awesome !!! Fit ,aggressive look ,and super quite . Exactly what I was looking for . NITTO RIDGE GRAPPLER
Great video...bought a '17 FX4 with the 20" wheel and tire factory option like yours. I installed a 2.5 level kit, and and am looking at installing the Nitto Trail Grapplers in 35 x 12.5 20's. Your video answered my questions on whether they would fit. Enjoy!!
Man great video bud. I've been thinking about the 35s for my truck but was worried about the clearance now I know I'll be ok. Thanks for taking the time to upload the vid
Nice King Ranch! There is a video of a guy running 37's on a leveled 2017 with just a minor leveling kit, crazy we can stuff 37's on stock trucks these days
That is one nice F250 , in the UK we have very few F150/250s ... I love your big pick ups in the USA.../ but I saw loads holidaying in Florida, i wish they imported them into the UK, -- --- PS your Accent when you talk ! ..... I love it!
Thank you for posting this video and very nice truck. If I were to look straight down the side of your truck, how much are the tires sticking out past the fenders with that +1 offset? And do you find that the tires throw a lot of spray and dirt down the side of the truck? Would it be possible for me to get a higher positive offset and get that same size tire under the fender with still no rubbing? Please let me know what you think, thanks!
Hey Derrick, this is real helpful. Thanks for posting this. I'm thinking of getting a 2014 F-350. I think a 20" wheel and 35x12.5 with stock height should work fine too.
Thanks for posting, and congrats on the beautiful truck. I just bought the same truck F 250 platinum 2017 and wanted to do rim/ tire upgrade. So with Fuel wheels, did you get the forged of regular wheels??
Brett Tuck If you have the platinum you will probably understand where I’m coming from. The truck is to quite, cabin wind noise, tire noise, at interstate speeds I could fall asleep. Ford did a great job. But adding a more aggressive tire gave me a little noise I was missing. The Nitto Ridge Grappler is either a really quite tire or the truck is just sealed up that well. The wheels/tires balanced out really well. Doesn’t vibrate, shake, pull, it’s spot on. Next week we’re going to be doing a tire comparison so if you’ve not purchased a set yet wait for it. Doing a back to back off-road test, fuel mileage, decibel level, trailer towing, between (Nitto Ridge Grappler, Michelin LTX A/T2, Toyo Open County M/T, & BF Goodrich K/02’s).
I just bought a 16 super duty, just couldn't pass up the rebates. Was going to try a 17 super duty but the keys were lock up somewhere and the guy that could get the keys was gone, so I ended up driving the 16 lariat and loved it. But every time I see a 17 super duty on the road, it makes me bothered to think I could of bought a 17 instead. That crazy the tires fit without a lift
I've got a '17 F-250 and have been looking at the Ridge Grapplers also. Since they are a newer tire, there aren't a lot of reviews on them. After almost a year, how many miles do you have on them and how are they wearing? I put 60-70k a year on my truck. Factory Wranglers are shot at 30k. I can't afford too many 30k mile tires! haha! Please let me know when you you get a minute. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Wow thanks for all the reply's. Have you been offroad at all? Did you have any rubbing issus during wheel flex, or axle articulation. Do you think the aftermarket rim help with clearance. I'm really hoping to great away with the factory rim
Derek Aikman Had plans to do a 4 tire comparison including 35's on the factory rims but couldn't get a team together to make it happen. I've had it off-road & twisted up as much as I want to get this type of truck with no rubbing/issues whatsoever. It's possible the offset of the aftermarket wheels help a little. But I don't think you should have an issue on factory rims. If you do it might be something you could trim up on the fender not on the inside.
Does the stock truck fit in your garage? If so how tall is your garage? Factory height says 81.5 wondering if that’s true. Any measurements would help!
Hi Derrick...great video. Thinking of a very similar set up for my King Ranch. I noticed that these wheels come in offsets of 1 and 18. Are these in your video 1's? If so did you consider the 18 as an offset. Many thanks
Carl Key I wanted to get as close to factory offset as I could. I don’t like them sticking out (personal preference). My wheels are 20"x9" +1 offset. Double check but I believe the -18 stick out farther. Look at the comments from aaron. “The -18 on 20×10 sticks out 2 and 3/4 inches farther than the 20x8 factory wheels. I think its going to hit the front and back of the fender at full lock. The -18 is less backspace.”
+1 and +18 are offered so +18 would be closer to stock. Addes an inch in wheel width so that auahes the tire out 1/2".Stock offset is +40 so you've kicked it out 39mm (1.5") plus going from 11" to 12.5" tire brings it out another 3/4". So about 2-3/4" total poke. Looks great though. I'm about to do the same to a 2018 f350 lariat but going for the +18 offset.
i recently called someone at tire rack and said the biggest i could get was 285/70R17 (which is what I have on) on my f250 xl 4x4. my truck isnt lifted or leveled. I was looking at getting some 33x12's on 12 wide rims with -24 offset and was wondering if someone has done anything similar to that on my truck. thanks.
Great question, I think most standard garage door heights are 7ft. The truck at the clearance lights is right at 7ft height. Antenna roughly 7ft 5inches. Garage door height is 8ft with 10ft ceilings. Not tried it in a parking garage but probably not gonna make it.
Great looking truck... It gets pretty confusing when trying to figure out what will fit and how it will look. This video helps, but still have many questions for a setup I am looking at. I just got a 2018 F250 Platinum and want to put Fuel Assault rims 20x10 with -18 offset & Toyo Open Country RT 35x12.50x20. with a 2.5 Readylift leveling kit. Supposedly this will have little to no trimming at all (perhaps air dam) I am not looking for massive tire out from wheel wells but more of a 1 to 1.5" outside. Do you know if that will that cause rock chips down the doors or windows with stock fenders? (I would really love 22" rims but would more than likely need to have 37x12.50x22 and I think that would rub)
How do you like your Super Duty? Looking at getting an XLT with the gas engine since I don't tow often and when I do it's a light trailer with kayaks on it. Looking also at the Ridge Grapplers as well. Thanks!
real nice....looking at buying a 17 and have been wondering how one would look like without a lift kit on it....what rear are you running if I may ask....btw are those fuel assualt wheels?
bmmland123 I’ve got almost 5k miles on the truck & so far nothing has acted up. I pulled a car hauler trailer on a 10hr trip & could “feel” the adaptive steering passing semi’s/in curves but it all worked seamlessly. Was/is yours doing it under certain conditions (towing, parking, curvy roads)? Or just randomly? Wonder if it has anything to do with the dually, they “push” more when turning? I’m no help here but with all of the new tech on these trucks, it’s almost like I’m waiting for something to go wrong.
Negative on the spare. Left it factory. Height is almost the same, so worse case it just looks a little different until you could get a fix/replacement.
*I installed these on my 91 Cherokee. They are amazing! 🚘🚖 **allabout.wiki/NITTO** I can drive over snow like it is dry pavement. Off roading over sand is completely effortless in 2wd. I only ever need to shift into 4hi if I get stuck which has only happened a couple times from spinning tires over sugar sand.*
How much room do ypu have between the control arm and tire at full lock? I have the exact truck color and all and was going to use 325/60/20 but was undecided about the 20x9 +1 and the 20x10 -18
aaron Correct me if I’m wrong but would you have about the same room if you went with the -18 offset & a 10” wheel, even though it’s a wider wheel? Since it sticks out more?
The -18 on 20×10 sticks out 2 and 3/4 inches farther than the 20x8 factory wheels. I think its going to hit the front and back of the fender at full lock. The -18 is less backspace.I could be wrong but they kept saying id need a 4in lift.
aaron Asked the shop who did our install (Massengill Tire & Offroad) they said you could get by with a leveling kit and maybe some light trimming instead of a lift if you wanted to go the 10” option.
You may want to do some trimming, if its that close at normal turning imagine how it will rub in articulation. Those are expensive tires, I would not risk dammage to them.
i fucking respect the shit out of the taxis people you're just like us in saudi Arabia they say to you you guys are hail bailies and to us the Beduins haha
Thanks man. Have the same truck in a 2019 and am looking for 35" tires thinking of running those exact tires. Looks great and now I know how they will look on my truck. Thanks for the video

Rondell Benjamin glad to hear that they are really good all around 👍🏼
Thanks for the video. I take delivery of my 2017 F250 King Ranch on March 6th. Wheels and tires are the first thing I'm considering changing.
Bad Karma thank you for the comment..wheels and tires change the look of the truck. Awesome truck
Bad Karma I'm getting the platinum next month
Bad Karma karmas a bitch
First thing I did to my 17 - 3 inch leveling kit, wheels and 35 inch Toyo Open Country tires
Great video...bought a '17 FX4 with the 20" wheel and tire factory option like yours. I installed a 2.5 level kit, and and am looking at installing the Nitto Trail Grapplers in 35 x 12.5 20's. Your video answered my questions on whether they would fit. Enjoy!!

Great Great Video. Coincidentally I have the exact same tires and rims so the video was tailor made for my situation. All my questions are answered.
Beautiful truck. Wheels and tires look great. Thanks for posting - very useful video. Greetings and respect to all from Durango Mexico.
I'm a Chevy guy and normally don't like fords but your truck is beautiful
Chris John Michael thank you man. Had a chevy before this one. 2015 2500 high Country.
The Derrick there all great trucks it just a matter of opinion enjoy the truck!
Chris John Michael thanks again man.
Beautiful truck man! I just ordered my F350 Lariat. I'm hating waiting 2 months for it to be built!
Matt Moore thank you. I bet your truck will look good the more you wait the more you will want it haha.
for those in the north that may want a slimmer tire for snow....285/75/18= 34.8" tall 11.2" wide. also even less chance of rubbing while offroading.
Exactly the info Ive been looking for!
Man great video bud. I've been thinking about the 35s for my truck but was worried about the clearance now I know I'll be ok. Thanks for taking the time to upload the vid
Common Sense yeah man you should be just fine with a 35. Thanks for the comment
If that's an old mans truck then I'm bout to get old real quick. Awesome Video
Nice King Ranch! There is a video of a guy running 37's on a leveled 2017 with just a minor leveling kit, crazy we can stuff 37's on stock trucks these days
SMiller5488 thank you. It is pretty crazy what we can Do now a days.
The Derrick
GOD BLESS AMERICA🤙
That is one nice F250 , in the UK we have very few F150/250s ... I love your big pick ups in the USA.../ but I saw loads holidaying in Florida, i wish they imported them into the UK, -- --- PS your Accent when you talk ! ..... I love it!
Love the rim and tire combo!
Great info gorgeous truck enjoy it
Great video! Thanks for uploading. Tell your brother Larry the cable guy hello for me! 😋
Nice truck. I just but 295 70s on 18 x 9 rims on my 2017 crew cab. No rubbing and it looks great. 18 mm offset. Everything is inside the wheel wells.
Usedjt
Thank you for posting this video and very nice truck. If I were to look straight down the side of your truck, how much are the tires sticking out past the fenders with that +1 offset? That's a real nice looking truck man!
One Really Long Username For No Reason What So Evr hey man I appreciate it
badass bro. love it. I wouldn't change a thing. you did it rite
RICK Houser thanks man I appreciate it
Looks very nice. How are the tires for noise?
They suck
Definitely the tires are not your problem. Your problem is too much money! Lucky You. Very nice truck.
Hey Derrick, this is real helpful. Thanks for posting this. I'm thinking of getting a 2014 F-350. I think a 20" wheel and 35x12.5 with stock height should work fine too.
I’m from Alabama and your accent is a lot stronger than mine, curious what part of the south your from
Wow--what an awesome truck
TheGrasspond thanks man
Looks beautiful my friend. 👍🏽
I have the same truck and would like 35's x 12.5 20. Which offset did you go with those rims? I purchased a 2" front end leveling kit.
what is the offset and rim size
Maybe I didn’t read enough comments, but did you ever have any trouble with the front rubbing
Nice setup. Do you know the offset of the front rims?
35x13 BFGs with XD riot rims. No rubbing. goes thru carwashs, looks killer on 17 F350 platinum. TY
You never mentioned what size offset
my first truck was a 1986 f350 with a DANA 60 front axle 460 4 speed with 4.10 gears and I had 38x12.5 with no lift. love the truck!
Hey Derrick, do you have any side photos of the truck with the wheels? Just ordered my King Ranch would like to do something similar. Nice work
Ralph Iglesias yeah I have a few I believe. The one that’s the cover of this video is okay for looking at the wheels
The Derrick if you don’t mind can you send them over to drastik07@gmail.com ? Thanks man
Looks great, what type of rims are they? size?
Great video. Do you run mud flaps with that setup. Wondering if they will clear?
DERRICK IM IN THE TIRE BUSINESS NOW 30 YEARS.. HOW IS THE NOISE ON THE NEW RMT TIRE.? THANKS GREAT VIDEO!
Tony Conley th-cam.com/video/K3GjpWHcsVo/w-d-xo.html
Tony Conley that is a video on the tire noise.
They suck
Thanks for posting, and congrats on the beautiful truck. I just bought the same truck F 250 platinum 2017 and wanted to do rim/ tire upgrade. So with Fuel wheels, did you get the forged of regular wheels??
Brett Tuck thank you for the comment man. The wheels are just a one piece regular.

Have any problems with TPMS? I put 35x11.50x 20 not reading tpms.
are your wheels 20x9s with the 35/12.50? thanks! sweet truck
Great looking truck
Andrew thanks man.
Great video💯

How much did you spend on that setup ?
Sharp truck man! New Super Duty is bad!!
Jerame Phillips Thank you man. It's a pretty bad truck.
So you think I could run 22x10 with 33s on my 2017 f250 - same truck as yours.
Whats the offset??
i recently called someone at tire rack and said the biggest i could get was 285/70R17 (which is what I have on) on my f250 xl 4x4. my truck isnt lifted or leveled. what tire pressure you running on those tires
what tire pressure are u running ? fwd and rear? I have tpms on need to run 80 in the rear and 60 in the front on my cummins.
What about the noice difference?
Looks good what's your garage door height?
Austin Burns thanks man. The garage door is about 8 ft tall I believe.
Great question, I think most standard garage door heights are 7ft. The truck at the clearance lights is right at 7ft height. Antenna roughly 7ft 5inches.
Garage door height is 8ft with 10ft ceilings. Not tried it in a parking garage but probably not gonna make it.
Great looking truck! What is the offset of those wheels?
What was the offset of the wheel? Great looking truck. Thanks. Taking delivery of my 2017 today.

The trucks with more tire outside the fender will throw rocks. Anyone tells you otherwise is kidding themselves.
How do you like your Super Duty? Looking at getting an XLT with the gas engine since I don't tow often and when I do it's a light trailer with kayaks on it. Looking also at the Ridge Grapplers as well. Thanks!
BassYakwards TV I love the truck it's been good. The Tires are really good to not to much tire noise either.
The Derrick awesome thanks! The new Super Duty took some time to grow on me but I love them now.and the tires fit it perfectly.
real nice....looking at buying a 17 and have been wondering how one would look like without a lift kit on it....what rear are you running if I may ask....btw are those fuel assualt wheels?
Chris Sneed hey man thanks and yes those are the wheels I am running but what exactly do you by what rear am I running?
The Derrick
axle ratio
Chris Sneed it is 3.55 locking differential.
The Derrick
ok thanks
beautiful truck
Pepe thank you man.
Do you know what the offset is on the wheel?
has your trucks adaptive steering made any funny noises yet. I have the dually version and services advance trac light come on several times.
bmmland123 I’ve got almost 5k miles on the truck & so far nothing has acted up.
The Derrick mine does it once a day and when I reset does not do it anymore that day
Nice truck! I was interested in a similar upgrade. What's the offset on your Fuel Assault rims? 1 or 20?
Thank you and the offset is +1
I like the video, what offset are the Fuel wheels?
Thanks
Nathan Sramek it is a +1 offset
Hey great, thank you for the quick response.
Nathan Sramek your welcome man
Are you running a 35" spare? I'm debating finding an equivalent diameter tire for the spare. Not sure I want to buy all five...
Negative on the spare. Left it factory. Height is almost the same, so worse case it just looks a little different until you could get a fix/replacement.
Thank you. We might do some more test with it later down the road.
take those 20" rims off they are useless off-road for off-roading you don't want t rim any bigger than 18"
can you tell me where it says there made
Where whats made?
The tires (nitto ridge grapplers)
Izaak Farley oh sorry your asking where the tires are made?
*I installed these on my 91 Cherokee. They are amazing! 🚘🚖 **allabout.wiki/NITTO** I can drive over snow like it is dry pavement. Off roading over sand is completely effortless in 2wd. I only ever need to shift into 4hi if I get stuck which has only happened a couple times from spinning tires over sugar sand.*
Are they noisy
Are those assaults with gloss or non gloss?
They look to be gloss, but it's a low gloss.
Great video. Thanks
nice tires are the noise or quiet
the tire noise is not bad at all.i have a video on that also.
do you know what the off set is i just ordered 20x10 -18 but im installing the 4.5" rough country
jeramie bentley it's a +1 offset
damn mine may be stickin out a little more than I intended lol
jeramie bentley hey that will be okay lol
What kind of mpg are you seeing with the 35's?
i'm getting around 15-16 mpg
Thanks for the info.
tailon a your welcome
How much room do ypu have between the control arm and tire at full lock? I have the exact truck color and all and was going to use 325/60/20 but was undecided about the 20x9 +1 and the 20x10 -18
aaron at full lock there is still between 2” & 2.5” inches between tire & control arm. Plenty of room.
The Derrick Thanks! I'll go with the 20x9. Good taste in vehicles!
aaron Correct me if I’m wrong but would you have about the same room if you went with the -18 offset & a 10” wheel, even though it’s a wider wheel? Since it sticks out more?
The -18 on 20×10 sticks out 2 and 3/4 inches farther than the 20x8 factory wheels. I think its going to hit the front and back of the fender at full lock. The -18 is less backspace.I could be wrong but they kept saying id need a 4in lift.
aaron Asked the shop who did our install (Massengill Tire & Offroad) they said you could get by with a leveling kit and maybe some light trimming instead of a lift if you wanted to go the 10” option.
Nice, what's the offset of the wheels?
phuong phan wheels are 20"x9" +1 offset
Awesome, thanks!
my 2006 is running 35" toyo open country m/t no level or lift. no rub or anything
Great vid - thanks, hoss!
That's crazy that they can run 35s without a lift on the new super duty I have a 6" lift on my 2002 f350 for my 35s
scott kough yeah man it's pretty crazy what you can do now days. Thank for the comment
You may want to do some trimming, if its that close at normal turning imagine how it will rub in articulation. Those are expensive tires, I would not risk dammage to them.
did you need a lift kit
David Morin no its all stock no lift or leveling kit.
Do you remember offset of the wheel?
Mark Yeager A +1 offset
The Derrick thank you sir
gm needs to watch and learn..
Just traded in my 2016 GMC 2500 for a 2017 Ford F250 Lariat 6.7 Wow!!!!.......What a Difference in Trucks the Ford is a much better Truck.
GM is stuck in their horribly squared and misshapen wheel arch phase...idk why anyone thought that was a good idea.
Nice Truck!!!
R.A. Harbert thank you man
Nice truck bud
What's the offset
I would level just to get rid of the factory rake
Beast truck
Erick Espinoza thanks man.
What offset is that?
Noah B A +1 offset
Does that mean 1 inch?
Make a towing video . I want to see that engine be put to work
Want to sell your rims?
i fucking respect the shit out of the taxis people you're just like us in saudi Arabia they say to you you guys are hail bailies and to us the Beduins haha
LOL.....HEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAA! Rock on brother!
