Lea Salonga deserves all the accolades she gets. Her voice is pure and crystal clear. Fantastic!! It's a joy to listen to her sing. Thanks for posting.
This song has always had memories for me. In 1972 I sang it for my Concert Choir tryout in high school. NAILED IT. Our choir went on to sing in the Sistine Chapel. Tremendous acoustics. She is the BEST.
super galing talaga si lea..straight to the point ang voice niya, she doesnt have to fake the range of the song. we hope to see more lea salonga. if she ever come to Oregon I will definitely see her perform
Oh man! She is just awesome! Though I have a teacher that is good too, but I am taking voice classes and I have to sing the first part "Where is love" My teacher said that this is the best one for me to listen to... I love it! Thank you for posting it!
You absolutely can be too young. Lea is one of the few who actually have such a richness to her voice at a young age. Most young artists today have no business releasing albums until they have more training and their voices are more mature
She is flawless, truly the storyteller of Broadway. She tells such a beautiful narrative through her eyes and voice alone, arguably the most inspiring woman in the business.
Hello creative, I am a young Arab from Iraq, a teacher of Arabic language + and a new artist and poet, my name is Artist Bahr El Gharam We can communicate via WhatsApp so that you and I can get to know, and we may also make an Arab_foreign song I mean joint work Waiting for your reply via WhatsApp Note: My number is on my channel at a glance in the channel description Waiting for your answer
lea actually sang as long as he needs me in a very good cockney accent.i should know, i'm from london. also, her rendition of where is love was nearly perfect if you compare it to the american produced musical oliver! all that aside, the whole thing was perfect.(I've been forced to watch this musical a million times)
I normally don't like how soft and gentle Lea Salonga's voice is when she sings these emotional ballads, but I have to say here it honestly works. The soft and gentleness adds a lot of depth and layer that makes this song all the more heartbreaking.
I just saw her as Fantine in Les Mis - I thought she was wonderful. I didn't know she was a recording artist as well... I hope to see her perform again one day. Amazing talent!!
i need like years of lessons from this woman..sadly i have a few weeks before i gotta do this stinkin exam..infront of sum english guy..i hope he's young...and nice...and lenient...this song is gonna murder me...
lea isn't the only child star to make it in the industry. just look at the jackson 5, the osmonds , and others who have made their name from such a young age. I admit that some of these people may end up a bit fucked in the head, but there are more people who make a lasting career in the music industry from a young age, and they turn out to be good people. it all depends on upbringing.

This rendition is much less breathy than one other recording I heard. I like this one!!
this makes me cry every time
You're not the only one
OMG! This rocks my socks! Love Lea
best version of as long as he needs me ive ever heard.
She is the best musical stage actress ever.. I loved her Eponine in Les Mis, and she is amazing in Oliver as well.
That was AMAZING!
This is an amazing Video
angelical!
lea salonga touch my heart....oh my god....
you can never be too young to be a professional singer. lea proved that by releasingher first album at the age of 10.
I just saw her as Fantine in Les Mis - I thought she was wonderful. I didn't know she was a recording artist as well... I hope to see her perform again one day. Amazing talent!!
I love her version so much! Better than most
Thank you!!! She should've played the role on West End

Have another one, Whiskey !!!
In this version, she sings a C sharp. In the stage version it's a C.
During her prime!
beautiful! makes me sad tho
im singing this song and i dont even have that incredible voice
Looks like someone can't see raw talent when he sees some.
Has anyone seen the movie Oliver Twist?
Good English grammer!

Bagofants you have no idea, There is not 1 nasel note, its prenounciation. and you can hear all note coming from deep diaphragm control
where did you find this?
:D she's back on broadway! she's replacing Daphne Rubin-Vega as Fantine. Whoo! Roadtrip anyone?
eponine fantine mulan jasmine kim
she could play anything
Well performed, but I think it makes the most impact, at least to me, when sung by a little boy wishing for his mother. (Oliver)
So sad song
Indeed!
ok
Sorry for not having the exact same taste in music as you, it's my opinion, and I am entitled to it
It's not that good...
