Always one of my favorite Gundam. The Endless Waltz Custom version is the most “How many weapons you want on it? ALL OF THEM!!!” Gundam I’ve ever seen.
I love the heavyarms design. It's one of the most heavily armed gundams ever that ISN'T over designed. Soooo many gundams that wear a lot of weaponry just become mobile bricks and it doesn't appeal. But heavyarms managed to still look mobile in spite of all the weapons. Thank god.
Especially when it can flip around with acrobatics like its pilot, Trowa Barton, when at his "Circus Career" , point can also be proven from playing Gundam Versus btw.
That's actually why my favourite suit besides the Tallgeese from Wing was the Sandrock. It's one of the least popular suits because it doesn't have a lot going on compared to the others, but it's just a near indestructible command unit with giant Shotel that operates in extreme conditions. That's mostly it besides like two missiles and the supporting mobile suits.
I mean they're releasing HGAC Gundam Deathscythe next year and we'll probs get the p-bandai release of HGAC Heavyarms Kai next year too like how they're releasing the p-bandai HGAC Sandrock Kai next year

I never really thought about it before now, but Trowa's head must rattle like crazy when those chest gattlings fire. He would be seated just below them if I am not mistaken.
Maybe but mr expressionless would never show it 😂 i think canonically he is the strongest pilot since heero was unable to lift the left arm properly meanwhile trowa can wield the double beam gattling while flipping around the battlefield no problem
I bet there will be many out there buying 2 of this kit just to swap the left arm with the one that can mount the weapon just to get a double gatling arms. INCLUDING ME.
sorry for raining on your parade but you can't swap the gatling arm, if you mount the forearm piece on the right the gatling sits with the shield on the inside.

One of my favorite designs. I’ve built three at this point. One of the “quick kits” from the early 2000s, another painted as Optimus Prime and this one.
I built this in July 2021, and I had a blast building it. Unfortunately one of the hinges broke on the missile covers on the shoulder. I ended up having to Fashion a new hinge joint out of wire. It was a good practice and modeling that I haven't got to do before but it looks nice now. Now a metal hinge will hold up way better than a plastic one.
Fun fact this was suppose to the be the leader unit for the Colony 5 squad sent to earth but No Name decided to jack both Trowa's gundam and name all in the same night.
The multiple stickers (especially the chest one) leaves me thinking that the Sandrock is the better kit out of the box. But they're both cool and I'm just happy that we're finally getting more Wing kits!
I just built this one today. My one nitpick is the muzzles for the gatling don't line up with the barrels; but other than that, it's a simple kit that manages to look cartoony and badass at the same time.
I left this exact comment about the barrels a few years ago for this vid. So it seems Bandai has never corrected the issue. However, if you purchase the Heavyarms kai (twin gatling) P Bandai kit the barrels are actually built correct for that version.
Have yet to see any of the Wing shows and I have no idea about this Suit's story, but it was on sale at the store so I got one. It is now in my backlog stack of boxes.
Chill man, Bandai will make them eventually. For now Bandai want to focus on EW/GOL/FT redesign ver. And Bandai already done the full line of EW(manga) and also EW(OVA anime).
I'm getting this, along with the other HG suits for the main team's gundams. Also gonna get an MG of Wing Zero Custom and Epyon. Maybe Heavy Arms Custom as well. And of course, can never go wrong with a lotta Leos.

A little thing I did with my HG Heavyarms was change how the knife is on the arm, I made it so that when the knife is flipped out, the sharp side is pointing down and away from the hand as opposed to it normally being towards the hand. Also I like to call the Heavyarms the "Stereotypical Texan Gundam"
I don't know why but somehow this awesome gunpla somehow shows up at every target I go to and I also got it where I live at which I didn't know gunpla was even at the nearest hobby store is 1 hour away so....thats cool
In terms of HG polycaps, the 2013 PC-002 that debuted with the HG Build Strike is the newest set. It's really just a streamlined, condensed version of the PC-001 polycaps that debuted with the HG 00 Gundam in 2008. Since many joints are now soft PS on PS, many of the PC-001 polycaps are no longer necessary. Articulation-wise, these are the polycap runners that originally enabled some ridiculous posing possibilities in the HG line.

I have a transformer with an optional gun-hand thingy like this guy (it’s not intentional but you can do it using transformation joints) but I like to use it as a sword looking thing rather than a gun.
After owning this kit for a while I have noticed a big error Bandai made with this mold. The gatling barrels are NOT aligned correctly (this can be seen in the video thumbnail) the end of the gun does not line up correctly with the rest of the barrels coming from the wrist. This gun cannot fire, strangely it seems even the artwork on the side of the box has made this error too.
I mean, I know it crosses into customization, but I suppose if the stickers are such an issue, some masking tape and blue paint would... *possibly* be a decent substitute for those stickers?
get a second Heavy arms. Hollow out its left arm for a beam saber mount. Then mod the beam gatlings for the dual set it gets for the end of the series.
8:53 please don't do that too much, you will break the peg inside the torso, better pull up the back skirt every time when you want to do that. i'm speaking from experience.
I really hope they release a modern version of the HeavyArms Kai, I've always liked the double-gatling and the additional armaments while retaining this color scheme.

Nothing beats the original TV version of Heavyarms for me, just wish the MG was based on the TV version but that might be the kit that finally gets me into modifying because I much prefer the TV gatling over the Katoki thing.
Fantastic review!!! I love the Heavyarms, but this HG seems less color-separated than the Sandrock...so...plain!!! Guess I'll have to learn to panel line...Then again, I remember the first kit of this that came out, and I am relieved that they finally got the proportions (and some of the parts' colors) right!!! I love the improved mini-missile and shoulder missile pods; as well as the toe-bending feet (front-bending feet?) and improved articulation!!! I hope Bandai can come up with proper effect parts for the missile launching and chest gatling shooting action poses!!! Still planning to get this, though...for nostalgia's sake!!!
So, the Kai upgrade with the double barrel gatling and possibly the beam saber forearm will probably be a P-Bandai, eh? Along with Sandrock and it's upgrade of: gun?
Dunno who all will see this but I have a question; could any other HG kit hold the beam gatling gun? I had an idea for a kitbash involving a few other kits and wanted to know if that weapon could be used on any other kit or if it has to be Heavyarms.

Also, are any Barbatos Hands Compatible with other HG Mobile Suits? I want a Melee Claw Combat mode and Mid Range Dual Wielding Scythe Mode, the Head will be Death Scythe's with a Custom added halo on it connected to it's V-Fin which kinda looks like the Geass from Code Geass, as well as His shoulder Armor. Still thinking about legs and arms.

I love how by making this kit TV-accurate, it makes it look badass but cartoon-y. I love it so, SO much.

It truly is the coolest. I have an art book called Mecha Mania that features a Heavy Arms variant. It rocks a WWII looking helmet and gas mask.

So, the Kai upgrade with the double barrel gatling and possibly the beam saber forearm will probably be a P-Bandai, eh? Along with Sandrock and it's upgrade of: gun?
Dunno who all will see this but I have a question; could any other HG kit hold the beam gatling gun? I had an idea for a kitbash involving a few other kits and wanted to know if that weapon could be used on any other kit or if it has to be Heavyarms.

I think MG Heavyarms (red) looked better. It had a chaingun backpack, it had that blue parts in the chest plate, and there were some more.
Does it have the Double Peg hole in the Back? I wanna Get one and a Wing Zero so I can give Put the Wings on The Main Body of Heavy Arms for a Custom Gundam I've been thinking of Building. Also, are any Barbatos Hands Compatible with other HG Mobile Suits? I want a Melee Claw Combat mode and Mid Range Dual Wielding Scythe Mode, the Head will be Death Scythe's with a Custom added halo on it connected to it's V-Fin which kinda looks like the Geass from Code Geass, as well as His shoulder Armor. Still thinking about legs and arms.
