Here in the MGL office, we let it sit 10-15 minutes between applying each coat! Honestly, the longer the better!

She says them in the video 🙂 rubbing alcohol to prep, ferric chloride, baking soda, cotton balls, your stencil, and a bowl to neutralize your cotton balls in!

I think the video just said to let it dry in between coats (4-5 coats). So I guess it depends in how wet you actually get your cotton ball when applying each coat.
Here in the MGL office we let it dry for 10-15 minutes in between each coat!
You used baking soda, not powder.

I think she means baking soda. Baking soda will neutralize, baking powder will not.
