I've got the £25 Ikea Laiva shelf unit - bought a £5 set of drawer runners and put them on one of the shelves for my Maker to sit on. The result is that it's discretely out of the way on a shelf, but when I want to use it I just pull the shelf forward.
You can use any water based ink markers or ink for watercolor. There are also water color pencils. You draw or color with the dry pencil, then manipulate the color with a paint brush or Q-tip dipped in water. You can also dip your water color pencil into water and lay down a more intense layer of color and still manipulate the paint with water. You can also use an alcohol dipped paintbrush or Q-tip to manipulate alcohol inks on the paper, Either by touching the pen tip to the brush or color on the paper with the pen and use the brush on the inked paper, or scribble a little puddle of alcohol ink onto a piece of plastic, dip the alcohol soaked Q-tip or brush into the puddle of color and use it like paint or ink-brush ink. You can also use water to correct the water color or alcohol ink by wetting the color you want to remove or change the color or a boo-boo with water for water color or alcohol for alcohol ink. Wt the spot you wan to lighten or remove until it is a puddle, and dab it up with an absorbent, cloth-like paper towel, or lift it with a clean damp brush. then you can redo the area as you choose.
I actually have a small workspace and am constantly having to move my Cricut forwards and backwards to get it out of my way. I bought some silicone feet from Amazon for the bottom. They are awesome and gives you pretty much the same effect as your wheels that you put on it. You can slide it all over the place and it slides like grease and is very stable as well. They are Aieve Appliance Sliders and I also used for my heavy countertop appliances in my kitchen.
I tried the wheels and had to remove them. They leave 😢intentions on my wooden table. But the little felt circles you put under stuff worked🎉 great. Makes it just like I had wheels on it! Thanks Tanner for all the tips.
I have an electric air duster that I got for cleaning my computer and decor. I like it way better than canned air because it's rechargeable, it doesn't spray chemicals onto your stuff, and you save SO much money if you're using canned air a lot.
@@MakersGonnaLearn you realize this is old and no longer supported since the update right? Total clickbait for all who have joys and can’t use this hack anymore. Bummer!!
I made a shelf from a cardboard box for my Cricut and Brother Scan N Cut. My Cricut sits underneath on the table. I made sure that there was enough clearance to open it without pulling it out and cut a slit in the back of the box for the mat to go through. I keep the Scan N Cut on top. Works like a charm and cost me nothing to make. Before I made the shelf, I was using little roller ball wheels that I got from Temu. Don’t need them now since I don’t move my machines around. Love the ruler hack. I purchased a gadget that hooks onto the front of my Cricut from Temu that works with the same principle. I might try the ruler with my Scan N Cut, as the gadget for the Cricut doesn’t work there. I don’t know, I will have to take a closer look to see if there is some way to support the mat going in. Thanks for the ideas. Love you and may God bless you today.
I have put a small piece of fabric under the "feet" on either side and the Maker slides effortlessly on the desk. (Instead of buying the little wheels)
Thank you so much for the hacks Tanner. The one question I have though is with the wheels on your Cricut, does it move while you’re trying to work on a project?
I had to pause & go look, I have maker 3 & it doesn't have the charger plug 😢 I have not been able to try sublimation 🤔 I bought a thrift Epson Artisan 730 & the sub ink but, I am not sure how to convert it over. Could you do a video on this? Plz plz I love your channel, your personality is so sweet! I love to see a new video pop up. Ya'll videos have been so helpful since getting my Cricut thank you for sharing! God bless
So, I found out that you do need an adapter for the CraZart markers and the Cricut Explore Air 2. Maybe it works with the newer machines without one, but this is all that I have. I am glad that I do actually have one of the adapters and it works great.
I have put wheels under my shelf so I can pull it out from the wall (it roll over my easy press than I store underneath) when I use it and roll I back when not in use😊
After i check out these comments I'm jumping on amazon to order some canned air. Even with the cover on my explore air 2 it gets so dusty inside. Great hack idea. Love your videos! Thank you!

Love the canned air. Just be careful not to spray too long, you will get moisture.
Shelf link doesn’t work
no it doesnt
Highlight it and then paste into browser or Google search the link. It worked for me that way.
Won’t work on iPad

If I have a maker why do I need other cricuts?? I'm not cutting multiple things at one time, but I'm not sure what other reasons for this would be.
I'm a member! I had my son 3D print a "hanger" that attaches to the tool fold down door to keep my mat from hanging down. Love it!

I have something similar that is wider and made for it. Got it on amazon
It holds the mats great

I’d love to get the table but it’s not linked.
I am unable to find the cricut shelf. Can you send me the link as the one on your list is not working.
Where is the link?
ASK you why, the Maker Stars Not down and the both small one upstairs?
I wondered the same then thought maybe just to show that the shelf is capable of holding the larger Cricut.

Compressed air is VERY nice to have if you do a lot of acrylic engraving. The shavings get everywhere!!
Great information! The wheels are unavailable, could you recommend an alternative?
I purchased the craZArt fine line markers and they don’t seem to fit in my Cricut Explore Air 2 😢

Have you or anyone else experienced the black rubber wheels almost like dry rotting and pieces coming off??
Which cricut machine has the charger port for your iPad?? I don’t have it on my cricut explore 3

Air dusting is my favorite. Thanks!
You're welcome!
Hi, I think the wheels are great. However, charging or bright pad on cricut is the best. Thanks member
The table also is a huge space saver when you’re dealing with limited space
Do the Cra Z Art pens fit into cricut maker without a hack adapter? and with or without the cricut adapter?
I have the same question.

I think the wheels are super. I never knew there were such tiny casters.

"Print and cut" is hard to say with flippy teeth gaurds. It looks hard to pronounce your words now. Was it worth it?
