There’s always going to be something “OP” or abused in online play but I would rather that be the triple option than broken zones with free streaks every play😭

I never liked mascot mode.. I’d play it here and there but I don’t get the hype.
Likewise, I hate how juking would be a full side flip that doesn't help.
Mascot mode was simply a gimmick…it’s not needed and 0.0002% of players probably care about it

I’m 42 and have played every NCAA Football game since the early/mid 90’s…I stand by my previous comment
People would play mascot mode very rarely just for jokes & that was it. Very few ppl actually would’ve put substantial hours into playing tht game mode.

I just hope they don't overdo it with the option and have Navy in the top ten year in and out again like in 2014. That was always weird to me, in Dynasty mode.
I think it had more to do with the service academies not being in a conference. Just like there was always a sun belt team like Arkansas State that would somehow be a powerhouse too. They need to do something to make it harder for smaller schools to get top end recruits.

I just hope the AI is game Knowledgeable at end game with Decision making because in 14 the AI didn't have great clock management or using timeouts
gotta love when the AI is so close to coming back in the final seconds with no timeouts, just for em to run the clock out and not run a play ❤🔥❤🔥

I’ve played every College Football game since the SNES…I’ve been waiting on this game for over a decade. Even if it were a Madden clone, I would still buy it simply because I’ve missed College Dynasty mode with recruiting for too long. I still play NCAA ‘14 on my PS3. Need College Football on my PS5! 👍
Madden is not even a horrible game it's just that the people who literally buy it every year don't see noticeable improvements. I bought Madden 23, my 1st since Madden 17, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We NEED college football on current gen. We need full conference customization, full playbook customization and full playoff customization. I'm more concerned about those things pointless game modes.
Mascot Mode is a cool lil gag to play once or twice... But as someone who isn't a casual, NO ESPN?? NO COLLEGE GAMEDAY??? Helmets coming off for the first time since Madden 07 is amazing, but who else is already cringing internally when imagining the line of dialogue: "This has been College Football on EA Sports" 🤮
I'm ok with no ESPN. If they have different broadcast packages. Like one similar to fox, CBS and ESPN.
Also if no ESPN. Why was Joel Klatt not in the game. It would have been amazing with him and gus as a 3rd broadcast team

@@zackaryhunt5851 well the actual answer is because it gives them more flexibility. They don’t have to ask permission from ESPN if they want to change something it’s the same reason they won’t do it for Madden. The problem is the scoreboards and tickers they use for Madden are ugly.

No gameday for big games is a bummer. They gotta have in game and halftime studio updating scores around the country. That was one of my favorite parts of 14. Hopefully this "leak" is just that and doesn't actually know if its in or not
EA said they want it to be different than ncaa 14. So it might be true

I still haven’t heard any word on player development… it’s an absolute must for dynasty mode especially if you are a small school
Honestly the stamina system has always been there, even in 14 and current madden, you run a running back 5 times in a row, he tends to fumble or get injured. Just sounds like they are emphasizing it now
Man some of the stuff I can live without but it would be even better with it but I still am going to get it no doubt I neeedd that that game

There is no college gameday because there is no ESPN licensing. I'm sure there will be a substitute very similar to that, but it just won't have ESPN licensing. Whoever is reading this, don't stress. I'm sure there will be an equally as good substitute just without the main brand licensing!
ESPN and fox should have presentations on the game. Like ncaa basketball 10.
I am patiently waiting on some online dynasty mode content I want to see if I can customize my schedule and how online works

I can add a little insight on not being able to really adjust the number of teams in the playoff. That probable is a condition of licensing the College Football Playoff. In previous years, they tried to add the option to have a 4, 8, 16 team playoff instead of the BCS Championship, but the NCAA flatly said "NO!" There were a few other instances where the NCAA made the team change or remove a feature.
One example of a change was around the feature where you could celebrate with the mascot after scoring a touchdown. The original version of that feature ALSO allowed you to celebrate with the opponent's mascot (which had a few different animations). It was pretty late in alpha when the NCAA requested that part of the feature removed. There was even going to be an achievement tied to celebrating with the opponent's mascot; it was called "Oops, wrong one."

I'm surprised Mascot Mode is not in the game, and it's a simple reason. It's an easy win for a feature. Mascot Mode was a game mode that was a little fun, gimmicky thing that could be added to the game for a very, very low cost. It was one to two days using a single artist and a single engineer. That's why it was added in the first place.
I mean, the stuff COULD be added in later updates/patches. Those personally don’t totally make or break the game for me, ofc, I’m still getting the game.
What about “create a play” feature. This was fun on madden 05 and 06.

I really hope mascot mode is added. I got a bunch of little nephews and neices that Wil be playing the game for the first time, all the players being 99 overr all, and how fluffy and fun all tje mascots look. I think it's the perfect football game that I know boys and girls want to play.
It's a great marketing move to get the new kids Into new football game. Mascot mode does exactly that.

So I think you should probably correct yourself with that and I know that because I have the series S and the college football video game is already on the Xbox store on that consul. So I think you should correct yourself and saying that the maddens are still made on PS4 Xbox, one and Xbox one S not series S. And the college football game will only be made on current GEN, which includes PlayStation, five Xbox series X and S. And I say that because you’re gonna probably confuse people and they’re gonna be like wait I thought it was on series S or some people may think that they bought a new system the series S thinking that it was current GEN I know,!! but the way you said it is gonna confuse some people

Bro Xbox series S is current GEN. You put that in the same category as Xbox one PS4 and Xbox series S is literally a digital version and smaller version of the series X.

Series S and X are the same thing S just has less storage and no disc drive . If you have the S you are good to buy this game.

Nobody played mascot mode all it did was eat up storage space. Also nobody has said no playoff expansion all that’s been leaked is you can’t change it back to the old BCS days before the playoffs.
