NCAA 14 was about as good of a entry into the series as we've seen. I can rattle off issues with it, but they're all minor. When it came to playability it's up there with the best NCAA games that had ever been released. It was fitting that it was the swan song. Hopefully 25 will be a worthy replacement because the bar was set pretty high.
Reminds me of all the mod teams that have kept Nascar Racing 2003 season alive for now 21 years. Constant track and car updates as well as tools keep the game going. Still the best Nascar game in that span which is kinda sad
03 was the one that made me fall in love with the series and 06 is the one I still play as my go to. I feel like we've been sleeping on NCAA 11 on ps3/360 tho so I'm picking that up with Madden 11 next

I still will be using NCAA 14 since you can't fully edit rosters. Decided to bring back the full 2013 rosters to all the schools plus add all the FCS players that made into the NFL on various G5 rosters. It's crazy so far and nowhere near done.

I’m actually amazed that people did play NCAA football 14 this long. I stopped playing it at NCAA 11. I get hypercritical of the realism of the games and I reached my threshold for bs on 11. I was personally tired of unrealistic broken tackles, freshman qb’s being thrown in the 4th quarter and playing the Tom Brady in the clutch, magnety defenders to the ball when they intercept and so much more. Maybe 14 got a lot better in those departments but probably not by much. I haven’t played a sports game of any kind in 13 years. I did miss CFB but the bs lack of realism wasn’t worth it. I’m SUPER glad that CFB 25 is here though. It looks to be the best and easily most realistic to date. I’m ready.
I'm still enjoying my North Texas dynasty on the 360 sim only it's fun as hell. Plus I have the all time rosters and yearly rosters saved to my locker from 2015 to 2023 so it's fun to just browse sometimes because I know for a a favt they'll have all that pay walled strictly to UT
I literally sold my copy of NCAA 14 for ps3 today. It was bitter sweet even though I still have it in revamped. But time to move on and hopefully this game will deliver.
Facts graphics isn’t big for me tho it’s more because of how easy 14 is now with the transfer portal now and the CFP 14 is outdated even with revamped I might play it one more time once we get like a day of 2 from release tho

I caught it on the GameStop app for like $80 and bought. It usually ran for about $115-$150

I think it was the most repayable sports game I’ve ever played.
The biggest problem is 5WR was unstoppable, but that was the nature of Oklahoma scoring 50pts a game back then so it makes sense
