A very well thought out practical camper with a German chassis and obvious quality. Would be great for one or two folk getting away. A bit home made feel to it but van based builds always have that which could make it difficult for me to part with 85k. Really nice piece of kit
Great looking and set up camper. Only negative though IMO is the folding sink directly above the toilet, most manufacturers/convertors are going away from that now.
Hi Nick, That is a nice couples Camper Van the Hillside Hopton with length beds instead of beds what are used width good size bathroom with a shower toilet and a folding sink and the table hidden behind the drivers seat great 😉 Thanks again Nick thats a very nice show👍👍👍👍👍
Just to save confusion the fuel filler is on the passenger side and accesible when you open the passenger door (adblue is also located here). It is not on the drivers side where you pointed out in the start of your video. Just wanted to say so no one puts fuel in the wrong place. Great video however! 👍
Sir Nick, I don't normally comment here, but I had to, regarding the warning label you pointed out in the beginning of the interior portion... what does that say about people, I wonder...lol. excellent video, as always, Sir! Cheers!
The washroom looks a bit too far forward, it looks like it is taking up driver leg room. And it needs a mirror over the sink. Good review though, thank you for that.👍
Hi Nick quick question I love Aquaholic and have seen what amazing transformation Setag do to boats, unfortunately my buget will not stretch to a yacht. But a motor home yes do setag do refits on motor homes. Thanks
That's a *MASSIVE* blind spot (heh) with the blinds stored on the driver's side a-pillar. I guess it doesn't matter on the continent but over here it's a huge issue. I wouldn't consider this due to that. Need to see at junctions, you know...
85K seems a bit steep for what you’re getting. Not a fan of the interior colour scheme. Always surprised at the comment “automatic transmission” as we don’t see many manual ones in North America. Oh yes! The blind comment as I’m surprised the German engineering doesn’t have a failsafe of you can’t put the vehicle into drive if the front blinds are closed. I guess the redundant warning sticker is cheaper as if needed at all.😅 Thanks Nick for trying to put a positive spin on this camper van.
Unless it's an urban myth, I think there was an American that thought "cruise control" meant they could leave the driver's seat and make a coffee while moving?
Ooooh Aquaholic, I've just realised you have this channel. I'm sorry but being a car guy I'm going to have to call Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond to check if any of these caravans are industructable. 😛
So you have to have the side door open to plug in?? Terrible design. What's with the space beneath the refrigerator? It's wasting seating space or refrigerator space. Poorly designed. The bathroom sink looks like it wouldn't last a week.
@@TheArmchairrocker guess your not tall so you don’t know what it’s like to not fit in small beds I think great idea so many things designed for short people nice to see someone thinking of us tall people
It's certainly got everything and doesn't miss out a thing. A great design for two people.

Surely that second orifice which you pointed to is for water, not fuel? The fuel filler is on the other side.

Nice compact unit. I like how the back end opens.
Cracking van and layout, as a current VW Transporter owner that would be my choice for our next van

You are absolutely right of course. My mistake.
A smart neat campervan. Youve got everything you need for a week or two or weekend on the road in yhe Uk or Europe. Comfortable for two people.
Nice van tour! Glad you liked the Hopton! 🚐✨
Very much! 🙂
Lovely motor home,Amazing how much they can make fit these days,I was very surprised at how big the shower space is.
What a great campervan. I can't think of anything I don't like about it 👍👍
Another good video Nick 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Yep got everything you need ok for two 🙌
My size of Camper Van Nick. Love it. Bob. 👍🌟🌟🌟❤️🙂
1st....... good video.. thank you so much sir❤ lot's of love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩😊
What an amazing van
Really like this, thanks Nick.
My pleasure!

Thank you! I was going to guess that the step is probably on the remote key. MAN engines on a van! Same MAN as on a super yacht? Interesting if so. 🍷
Yes, same company I believe.
Nice looking van
Most enjoyable, quite like that one , did you ever find out where the step switch was ?
I think it's a manual step... 😳
Thanks!!!❤

Not as far as I am aware, but you could always ask.
Loved it! ❤

Both the side bits on the A pillars fold down compact to the bottom of the windscreen...

That perfect for someone who likes to drive but doesn’t wanna stay hotel overnight.
Did you ever find the button for the step?? 🤷♂️
Nope! I think it's a manual one. 🙂
Ha ha so funny nick please don't drive the vehicle with blinds closed . Nice little miter home tbh not luxury but orrfectly adequate
All us pedants, and any Germans watching, thanking you for saying MAN correctly.😅
I get told off otherwise..! 😳😄
Like it...
I think anyone who would consider driving with all the blinds shut just shouldn’t have a driving license 🤣🤣
Hard to imagine isn't it? 😄

@@origin178 Very definitely an urban myth that one! 😄 www.snopes.com/fact-check/cruise-uncontrol/
£85,000 grand for a van? Thanks but no thanks,I don’t care how good it is.
True. Pre covid at that price you'd afford a top of the range motor home. Now some of those have passed the 100k mark. Ridiculous.

It's an extra external socket not the hook up.....
Space beneath fridge is so you can lie down on couch and have more room same thing on other side the cooktop hangs over couch just like fridge
@@pmccarthy4427 expecting some seven footers, huh?
@@shelleyjones8552 you still need the door open to use any of those plugins.
