This is a very well produced vehicle and I like the colour. My only problem is that I expected more internal space. However when you look at the overall length of the vehicle and then compare this with the proportion from the very front to the end of the front cabin this front part is a significant % of the overall size. Nice episode and as ever excellent guide.
Yes it’s a nice vehicle but not as good as some others you have featured before. There’s no real storage space which is a shame, things like tables are ok but what storage there is gets taken up with putting the table away. Not the best layout but it will appeal to someone no doubt. I’d be curious to see what second hand vehicle you could get for the same money. Good video Nick, keep them coming.
Yes it's a well built vehicle and for some the size is ideal , but for that price it's more than some coachbuilts and falls short in quite a few areas , still thanks for showing it to us
No garage or storage, cramped seating at the rear and leather bed which has to be made up? Can’t see many people splashing 125k on this with far better alternatives around
I agree, also why do these companies provide seating for so many people when it's clearly a 2 berth max? I'd rather have one sofa and the TV on the opposite wall.
It doesn't help that a new L3 H2 Sprinter Auto would cost you £60k inc. VAT... empty! I'd prefer a practical Transit auto-based motorhome with a garage and save myself ~£45k.
I agree... I have a sprinter, fitted by Hymer and it has much more storage and is more practical for sleeping, with a garage space. This is more like an expensive day trip van? I couldent see anyone taking a euro road trip in this?
This one is brilliant. It has so much more than the fancy motorhomes you see. Ok, so it doesn't have a drop down bed nor sleeping for four or six people, but it has all the kitchen facilities needed, including a lot of good bench space, plus an oven and a microwave oven, which you don't see much of these days in the vehicles. Even the bathroom is great, with the separate shower unit, so that you don't have to dry everything when you need to use the loo. Well done. I wonder when this model will arrive in New Zealand. Send me one, Nick 😝
Nice exterior colour, its got everything you need, nice leather seats and plenty of storage. Nice bathroom . But i find this type of campervan is too cramped for me personally. I like more space. But it will a lovely van for a couple who like to tour regularly.
Pretty shocking interior for that price. Hate the bed arangement, the hobs being right next to the seating and the way the bathroom cuts into the room for the drivers seat to swivel. I'd look elsewhere for that money
Don’t get who the target mkt is, can’t be used as a daily run around at 7m. For that money you get a great German/Italian/French Moho, with a garage and a proper bed and storage.
Sadly none of them open so apart from 1 very small skylight and an air-conditioning unit that only runs off 240v, there is no ventilation. As an owner of a dark grey Mercedes-Benz Sprinter I can vouch for just how hot it gets inside these vans.
It's very nice but that pricetag! What's the market like for campers and motorhomes at the moment? I know post covid it went mad and people were selling 2nd hand ones up to 5 years old for 10 to 20 percent more than original purchase price
I'm curious, the black box under campervan on the off-side next to the exhaust pipe, is that a water tank? If so, it appears to be quite low and unprotected.
I never understand having a cooker next to the upholstery, splashing will always occur . Are people really splashing out that sort of money , good lord .
After all that, it hasn't got a fixed bed, so you have to make the bed up every night, and have to find somewhere to store your bedding during the day, so that limits storage space for other things. It might be expensive, but it's rubbish & badly planned!
Yet all that money and they "still" put a microwave up high and that is very dangerous indeed, why do companies still do this, taking things out above/face level 🤦♂
@@CarrieOnScreaming64 and if you did manage hot food will be all over your face, this has always been a risk hazard that is why ovens are below the waste and should never be above. They do limit themselves with this as someone like yourself with height and people with issues lifting arms etc for the price i would have thought they would have sorted this issue out a long time ago yet they still keep doing this.

It’s worse than sad to have to say this, as Mercedes Benz used to be a maker of outstanding vehicles, but for me, they have caught the modern German Disease of poor quality, unreliability, and dreadful Customer Service. If you doubt this, just read the customer reviews on German Kitchen appliances. A good friend used to have only Mercedes Cars and Vans for his business, gave them up due to the speed with which they started falling apart and rusting, switched to VW, same problems, now after closely inspecting the vehicles my father was buying, he also now buys Ford. That's odd. I have two Mercedes cars, and have owned Mercedes cars for well over a decade (after previously usually having had Audis) and I've found them absolutely flawless! One I ran from 30,000 miles/3 years old to over 100,000 miles/10 years old and it was utterly brilliant, one of the best built and most reliable cars I've owned (the black SLK). In fact three of them are on this channel.
@@MOTAHOLIC My friend’s business was buying Mercedes very regularly Nick, and my business I was managing bought VW. Both businesses noticed a dramatic fall in quality and in Customer Service starting in the late 1990’s and another business I was a director of experienced severe issues with their Porsche Cars starting then as well. A VW new Passat for the business I was managing, turned out to be extremely dangerous to drive in the wet, due to serious flaws in the suspension geometry that VW had attempted to overcome with sensors and power everything. One large puddle that I hit at low speed, threw the Passat onto the right side of the road and into the path of an oncoming lorry, which thankfully managed an emergency stop, as even my attempt to brake resulted in an accelerated aquaplane, but luckily I halted from a soft connection with the verge on the right hand side of the road. I switched to buying Nissan after that tbh, after chatting to other business owners who had been suffering from the same problems with German cars, and who had figured out out worthwhile alternatives. Some had gone with Toyota, some with Honda, but the happiest switchers to me appeared to be those who went with Nissan. After almost failing as a company just after the year 2000, the most improved carmaker became Ford, and my Detroit Car Quality Tester contact told me that the best quality Cars in the world, were KIA, and it had become really hard to place KIA ahead of them. So my father started buying New Ford Cars, and ended up buying twenty in total, and trading them in every 6 months for a new one, which was how he bought so many.Almost all of them were Diesel models, and they never had a problem. Cheap to run, insure, and service, with free premium priority AA membership from each service. It was our experience with those new Fords, that had my Mercedes Benz buying friend coming to take a very close look at them, with a few test drives, so he switched to buying Ford Cars and Vans for his business. If I could still drive, in addition to motorbikes, it would be a Ford Car. Lots of Family have given up on buying German products Nick, my grandfather who bought lots of BMW cars, gave up due to appalling customer service, and switched to Saab. Buying himself a Saab 900 Turbo for his 84th Birthday, and he stuck with them until he gave up driving after a car pulled out of a side road and took the front of his Saab off. He got out without a scratch, but he took the hint. That you personally are not having problems with your Mercedes Cars, frankly to me, confirms that you have been exceptionally lucky, as in General, German Manufacturers do appear with few exceptions, such as Sirius Yachts and Bavaria Yachts, to have totally lost the damned plot. Best Wishes. Bob.🤔🌟🌟🌟❤️
no generator for boondocking with no power..at this price point and no perm front window shades on the windshield he never showed them over priced for the rest on the market
Then set up a company making and selling them much cheaper, you'll corner the market, bankrupt the competition and make an absolute fortune! Good luck, let me know when I can tour your first one. 😃
Love to see your business plan for that, do post it up! You're going to need to buy and then pay to run a factory to build it in, pay for a designer to create the design, pay for the machinery you need to build it, pay for staff to do it, pay to market it, dealer margins, etc etc etc, and all after buying the van to convert it. I'll start you off, the basic van is going to cost you £75,000. Over to you. 👍🏻
@@MOTAHOLIC admittedly, I am being extreme 😉. It just seems to be priced much higher than other vans in its class. Still a nice camper but there’s better vans at that price point or less in my opinion. Thanks for replying Nick 🙌🏼, I love the vids.
A seating area designed for people without knees is certainly an innovative feature! 😅
I like the kitchen surfaces, extendable at each end. And the shower is great, I love that it's separate from the toilet even in this smaller van
Outside bbq point outside……where do you put the bbq when not using it?
