@@sailorrosethemagicalwriter me too I struggled after making shortcuts and trying to beat him 5 days with 70 attempts! this is the though one than Classic SMB.
@Sue Lee: They had to because of the extra points given for the remaining time after beating the finial boss, notice that it is x500 per seconds. Normal level even level with secret exit that got the goal pole as the secret exit, it is x50 per seconds, hard levels that trigger a save points x100 per seconds. Reznor, and king boo. X100 per second. Koopa ling fight x200 per seconds, And then finial boss X500 per seconds. Only the GBA version does that, and it also does that in Super mario advance 4 Super mario bros.3 It does not do it in Super mario advance, and Super mario advance 3 Yoshi island because does game does not have a timer, and beside Yoshi island max is 100 points per level, so having an in-game timer will make it too easy to reach 100 point without having to collect everything which would ruin the original concept of the game.
@black hole i guess No problem, I've played the SNES version so many times and the GBA version only once so I'm used to the SNES version's controls, its what comes to mind especially since Super Mario world for SNES was my first video game.

Maybe those are sprites? You never know what image is in which layer until another image tries to go over it.

You have to jump on the Mechakoopa, then walk into it while holding Y to carry it. Hold up and release Y to throw it up
