Thinking that Timpani was dead, Bleck started to think the Multiverse was having no more meaning nor joy, so he decided to destroy it. In Super Paper Mario, it turns out the first Pixl to help Mario, Tippi, was actually Timpani. At the end, Bleck and Timpani got married in order to prevent the Multiverse from being destroyed. Also, Ludwig is the leader of the Koopalings, not Larry.

Even if he didn't do very well (the Brute Force Federation corrupted him with their Malatone), he tried as hard as he could.
While Dry Bowser DID make his debut in Mario & Luigi Paper Jam, he was 2D like the other characters and was only that game’s superboss. Here, he’s a 3D model with actual dialogue.
I will say about that scene that it was unnecessary to make him a 3D model especially since there's battle sprites for dry Bowser in paper jam and honestly would have been less costly to just make a sprite for him

Yeah Bowser could be the secret final boss. But maybe these games are hinting at an RPG or mainline mario game where Bowser’s Kid(s) are the main adversary, and just due to their unpredictable nature of them being kids, it actually cause a lot of problem for the Bros and Bowser? Bowser Jr. was basically the main antagonist of the original NSMB. Bowser was taken down and reduced to bones right in the first world and doesn't appear until the penultimate castle. Junior is the midboss in every world, is featured prominently in every cutscene, and still gets to be a final boss.

Well Fawful did supposedly die in Super Star Saga but came back in this game. Also the koopalings were killed in super star saga too, but always came back. They could possibly bring these three back too.
Super Mario World: Koopalings heavily implied to have died; Wendy is erased from existence via mop along with her castle while every other Koopaling is dunked in lava or explodes along with their castles blowing up for good measure. They came back. Though yeah, I doubt the BFF will return seeing as how M&L is... Uh, in a bad state right now
I really hope they bring the Mario & Luigi series to switch soon, and I hope we can see a Heroes and Villains perspective on the story to get as much gameplay variety as possible

In this game, Bowser, Bowser Jr and the Koopalings are actually good guys! They don’t seek to kidnap peach, kill Mario and take over the Mushroom Kingdom like they do in games like New Super Mario Brothers U and Super Mario Brothers 3 and Super Mario World. They just want to save the Mushroom Kingdom from Fawful and Dark Bowser.
The koopalings artwork are even lazier, they just reuse their Super Mario bros encyclopedia artwork and just edit Larry’s and Wendy’s eyes instead of giving them new artwork
I only have one problem: They encounter the Bros. heading for the third star cure/sage and then immediately after encounter Bowser fighting the Tower of Yikk. Hmm.... Unless they we're separated by battles I just know the story of the side mode.

They don’t seek to kidnap peach, kill Mario and take over the Mushroom Kingdom like they do in games like New Super Mario Brothers U and Super Mario Brothers 3 and Super Mario World. They just want to save the Mushroom Kingdom from Fawful and Dark Bowser.
