@@WyattandReyka I’m from the 5th largest municipality of Sweden, Linköping (I think they should use the latin name, Linkopia, in international contexts; much more catchy), which- I guess- doesn’t say much for an american; ca 150000 inhabitants. It’s around 130 miles southwest of Stockholm (or exactly 200 kilometers). It’s also ”the Airplane city of Sweden”- I thought avout this since you were on that airplane ho(s)tel. Many airplanes are still made here to this day; only for military use though, no passanger planes (that I know of). Because of our 200 years of peace and neutrality (world record; longer than Switserland, which of course you- since you’re well-traveled americans- know is a different country😉😁) we’ve had to have a strong defence (up to the 21st century, when they started to reduce it, which of course now realised was a bad choice and has to be reversed). In a while in the 50s we even had the world’s 4th largest air force!
@@WyattandReyka Even if I’m here in (outside of) my hometown to visit my parents, but otherwise I live on the biggest island of the West Coast (3rd largest in the country) of Sweden, Orust, north of out second city, Gothenburg (Göteborg). I know you’ve left Sweden, but since ”it’s such an iconic country” (your words😉) you should come back and visit some of the islands and archipelagos. The Stockholm archipelago is the biggest (in the world!) in number of Islands, but we have probably at least 15 different archipelagos around the coast (and even more in some of our almost 100000 lakes!). As a ”nesofile” (”island maniac”) I’m proud that Sweden has more Islands than any other country in the world, circa 270000! And although a long main land coast of more than 7000 miles, only 38% of them are in the sea (The Baltic Sea/The part of the Atlantic called The Northern sea)! I know these facts have to make you as stoked as I am!!😁😉😜
@WyattandReyka, I read about it, I think! So the earth has multible layers of protection, and if you draw it on a paper, it would look like an apple because at two opposite points of the earth, there is not much protection from the sun and I guess the northern lights is the sun's light shining on the earth at those points! I don't remember exactly if its true and I'm also bad at explaining things!
Definitely not the kind of content I usually watch, but hell. I absolutely loved this series! You guys have mastered the craft of vlogging and I definitely believe you guys will grow your audience, because this kind of quality deserves a bigger audience, because, frankly, you're producing some of the best vlogs from what I've seen! ^^ Absolutely top quality stuff! I'll admit, I turned in here because Í saw you were in Stockholm (if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm Swedish :D), and I binged all of your Sweden videos in a heartbeat, now continuing onto the Finland ones, and after that the other countries you've visited. Will most certainly continue watching as your chemistry is something special, you both seem like such lovely people and I'm so happy I got the privilege to experience some parts of Sweden I haven't personally seen yet with you guys. If you ever return to our cold country, I'd recommend a visit to Gothenburg (Göteborg) as it's my favorite city in Sweden. I live 2 hours away from Göteborg and 2 hours away from Stockholm, so there's no personal bias there, I just feel like Göteborg gives you more of that cultural Swedish feel! Hope you both are well!
Reading this made our day. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts. We pour a lot of energy and care into making these videos as valuable for the viewer- entertainment and information wise. So it really means a lot when someone appreciates it. Thank you. And we ALMOST went to Gothenburg. (Maybe next time we’ll visit you on the way from Stockholm!! Haha.) there’s a hotel there with an underwater sauna which we thought would be cool. Again, thank you ❤️ cheers and hope you enjoy our next series in Estonia! We’re editing those vlogs now so should have them out soon 🤗
You are so kind! 🥰🤗 the northern lights were beautiful, right? And haha thank you! Glad my crazy hair in this video was still cute haha. You’re too sweet ❤️
You definitely should, it is such a cool experience!! The floors are actually not super slippery, I didn’t feel slippery once. You can never be too careful though haha🥰🤗 thanks for the watch!!
It was very interesting. I am looking forward to the next video❤
Thanks so much!! We appreciate the sweet comment Miyucchi!🥰🤗
Such cool place, now there's other Ice Hotels in different countries but Sweden like so many other times was first with it.
It was very cool! We had a wonderful time here! Thanks so much watching and the wonderful comment🥰❤️
I’m watching because of my country and also because you seem very likeable, but that thumbnail…well, who can blame (me)..?😉😏😁
I’m flattered!! 😂😂 Hahaha thanks. Where in Sweden are you from?? 🤔
