  • In this travel vlog, we are in Stockholm Sweden shopping for some traditional Swedish products. We start by checking out Scandinavian sweaters, and then move on to the fun tourist souvenirs. We explore a viking shop, see the hand crafted dalahästar and tomten, and of course go on a fika break! ☕️ Hope you enjoy! 🤗

    Charming video, it seems that you really liked your visit to Stockholm! Word of advice though; next time you visit, don't buy your souvenirs in Gamla Stan. They might look nice, but I would highly recommend checking out the museum stores in Stockholm, e.g. Historiska Museet, Nationalmuseum, Moderna Museet or Skansen. They all have a selection of things that have a more genuine connection to Swedish handicraft tradition. (Skansen also has small historically accurate shops inside the museum grounds, where you can buy things produced "on-site")

    Our chocolate is a must to try when you come Sweden and of course the shopping 😂 Gamla Stan has much history and the stores there are great
    A Brevkniv is always great to have at hand and we are very proud of our Dalahäst
    If you guys ever are around Hötorget, you'll come across konsert huset and a open market
    Cant wait to see what more you guys come up with while you're here in Sweden, i live right outside Stockholm so this is nice to see

    That cinnamon bun is pro level! That's not what they look like when I bake them at home. 😆 We are not much into frosting in general. It's commonly found on Danish pastry, though. Not much else.

    1699 kr for a sweater....????? 😱😱😱 I live in Sweden and would *never* buy a sweater for a prize like that. That's utter insanity!!! It's almost a robbery...

      Not really, if it's made in Sweden or Europe and made to last for a life time. You young people are far to used to prices only made possible by the often slave-like conditions in Asian countries.

    • @robert4you
      @robert4you 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@herrbonk3635 I am 54, but thanks calling me "young people" 🙂 My parents founded a company back in 1984 producing high quality clothes made only by Swedish fabrics. Everything was produced here in Sweden. These clothes sure lasted 20 years, but they didn't cost a fortune to buy. 1699:- for a sweater is a rip off. It's called greed...

    • @tangfors
      @tangfors 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They were a Sätila sweater, they are hand-knitted in Sweden and have an environmental focus. So not your average mass produced shirt made by child labor in Cambodia in a factory that spews chemicals, from cotton that is sprayed and drains all the water from lakes and rivers. So really, that price is what a shirt really costs if you don't want to support child labor or destroy our environment.
      Having said that, I also buy clothes that do that.

      Made by exclusive fabricated material not so expensive as it looks. Good quality costs. Nothing strange about that

      There's much more museums and interesting concerts, operas and so on, and architecture to watch in Stockholm than Thailand. And the weather is nice from June to August, so the swedes only visit Thailand when it's the coldest and darkest between December to March.
