That would work well for the intro, because you know that it always goes directly before the beginning of your content. But chances are, each episode is going to be a different length, so you don't know exactly where to place your outro until you have the content of your episode in place on the audio file.
Now, thank you Buzzsprout for this tip, I think this is a good tip for beginners who are just starting out in the audio world, and don't have much audio equipment, however even though I am fortunate to own a rode castor pro sound mixer, I still value your advice Buzzsprout, as I think adding a track to ones computer as well, can save time, and aid the editing process, especially sometimes one can forget to add tracks in when they are recording a live session/live show, and having a back up of the intro/Outro track on ones computer as well as external hard drive, can make ones podcasting journey easier..
Thank you for providing this very very helpful information. I am a "newbie" at starting my Beauty Podcast Show. You have made it super easy to understand how to add music for the Intro/Outro.
Great question, Marcella! Generally, we recommend incorporating your intro music during the editing process so as to ensure that your music is properly formatted and timed, providing a consistent listening experience across all platforms.
Thank you very much! 😁 So you just overlap the MP3 slightly in Audacity to make it fit steamline like you showed in the example? Or do I need to do something additional to make the intro/outro/music fad?
This is awesome it’s just simple video. Like the 101’s on podcasting for all the super-beginners out there ! 💡👍🏾

Hi, thank you for your video! isn't it possible to upload the intro directly into podcast platforms, as editing existing tracks?
