    Hi Katie, I have just come across your videos for the first time, I have just started getting into podcasting and I am yet to record my intro, I love how you explain obvious things without being condescending at the same time! Thanks for the video!

      How is it working out for you? I've just started my podcast journey and looking into everything from intro/outro, music, etc etc so haven't actually started anything yet.

    Thanks, Katie. I use a different audio editor, but I simply couldn't figure out how to duck the music beneath the voice over. This was so easy. Thanks again!

    Very helpful. I am putting together a sample intro and discovering all the challenges. One of the biggest is getting music and voice to sit nicely together. EQ is a part of the solution.

    So helpful! Do I need to adjust the audio volume as well? Not sure what I should set it to! Its a lot louder than normal volume for my computer setting though

    • @ProducerDanUSA
      @ProducerDanUSA 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should set the volume of your voice at a comfortable level. When the music is on it's own, go for the same level as your voice. When the music is under your voice, turn it way down

    Do you recommend editing your podcasts on Audacity as well so it is an easier fade? And if so, can you use recorded audio from a zoom call (if I do a remote interview) as an import into Audacity?

    Script. Tone/Brand voice. Quick and Snappy. Listen to fav podcast for ideas as Jam. Communicate what you can offer. Show them your socmed platforms. Memorize scripts but still natural in speaking..
    Record clips. Import for editing.
    Pick royalty free background music. Edit via audacity. Pause for 5-7 secs before speaking. Use fade in and out effects..
