When you are in a Google Drive document, at the top of the screen, where the document name is located, there is a “move” folder icon. Click that and you can see the current folder, location, including the full path at the bottom of the pop-up window and a preview of other documents that are also in that folder currently. And from that pop-up, you can change the location and move the document to another folder.
@@LironSegev agreed, and I also really wish apple Finder and file browser popups had better path “paste” functionality (like PCs do almost universally). Love your videos, by the way!!!
"Editors can change permissions and share" is a great feature in Academia. Both as Professor and alumni in other area of knowledge, such allows groups of students to remotely write their group works without being physically near. That is still an awesome feature presently and was even more useful during the prime times of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Of course I don't recommend it if you're writting a paper of your own or some kind of master's dissertation or PhD thesis. Nice video, glad you brought it to us.
Hi Liron I used to use Drive as a cloud-based storage (2 TB) & it was great for me for several years until they changed how it worked. I now use Sync. I really like this program & it suits the way it works. I still use Docs as you can open a PDF that has restricted access & then just print it as a PDF & remove all those annoying restrictions.
Mr Sergey! I'm only here to ask a question that's been roaming on internet . Is it true that Google delete files from drive accounts? Like accidentally?
I believe there are some rules that you can't break and Google will remove those files such as trying to host a file with malware or having x-rated material etc.
I have Gemini Advanced, and it is not available to me in docs like it is here. I have the pen on the left side of my document that can help with text, but not the star up in the right corner. I am in Norway - is that why? Edit: Perhaps ironically, I figured I could ask Gemini. Turns out, it is only available to Google Workspace accounts. I have a personal account. "Ah, that explains it! Unfortunately, even though you have Gemini Advanced through your Google One subscription, the fully integrated Gemini experience (with the star icon in the top right corner of Google Docs) is currently tied to Google Workspace accounts."
i hit 10gb of data then it blocked my uploads asked me to buy data, i then had to manually deleted the stuff i was trying to upload(all my files) i didnt know my google docs was mixed into that screen, and so all my google docs was deleted(they wasnt backed up) and so i lost all my important google documents. i did this a few weeks ago may take weeks or months to rebuild. was my own fault though.
@@jimdandy8996 you said you don't a Google due to privacy, so clearly using TH-cam doesn't seem to be a concern. So that's my question: even though you are not storing documents, you know you are being tracked right? Every click, every video, every ad etc.
Yes, a video about how to use Gemini would be very useful. Thanks!
Yes me too.
Yes. likewise, please.

Yup. It's silly really that we have to do any of that where in our computer it's easy to see the file path.

Yes, Mr. Segev! Please do a video about Gemini! If it's half as good as THIS video, it'll be a winner! Aloha!

Is Terabox cloud storage is safe?
I haven't looked into them, but my rule is that if you are going to save your data on someone else's computer, just encrypt it before your upload it.
I thought your channel is anti google, pro privacy. This was unexpected.
Absolutely not anti-google. I am anti nonsense and conspiracy theories without any proof.
Yes, how to use Gemini.
👍👍👍👍👍
🔥
Rule #1, if you value your privacy, don't use Google Drive!
I was just thinking that. I thought this channel was for privacy, but I guess not for Google, which is the one of the WORST culprit for privacy.

ouch....yeah the space allocation is EVERYTHING together
A few free programmes stand head and shoulders above the field. Google Drive is one of them.
As far as privacy, I trust Google about as far as I can spit ditch water.
And yet you are using their product 🤔
@@LironSegev Where am I using it? TH-cam? I don't create or store my docs on TH-cam Liron.
