Those skateboard trucks on the front of the lambo is brilliant..... I'm amazed I've never heard of people doing that before. It was long before axle lift, but even after, if there were mounting points, I'd consider them a better solution.

the only other place i've seen skateboard wheels on a car lip was on the god awfully customized fd3s from the fast and the furious, they installed those so that it wouldn't scrape coming up the driveway to see the black charger in that one scene. still a brilliant idea.

It's amazing how life works in such random ways. A seemingly routine interaction with someone results in a life changing new direction. Riding motorcycles has done that to me a couple times; met folks I'd have not met otherwise. Hoovie went to a buffet and came back with a wife and now has a kid and an almost honorable profession. 😄

As an italian, it's pretty funny to hear how you read the "Scarico Olio" e "Olio cambio" markings XD
For non-Italian speakers, 'olio scarico' is oil drain. 'Olio cambio' is oil for the (gear) change. You have to warm it before checking the level and topping up but only to 60-70C; it will take you a while to get to 90! It does look a pretty clean car, apart from an air dam apparently made as a stage prop!

I am not at all a car enthusiast myself but after watching some youtube on landcruisers and how to fix and improve my 2005 Toyota Hilux ( I live on La Réunion Island next to Madagascar), your channel showed up and after quite a few of your vidz I've been watching, you have managed to get my attention and interest on cars !

You can get your exotics serviced much cheaper than dealer prices. But you'll end up losing FAR more money when you go to sell it and the people buying those cars give you that weird look when the service records don't list Ferrari as the place that did it.

Using wood specifically plywood in the 3/8 quarter inch somewhere that range was actually normal place early on when making early splitters. If you've got a budget race team plywood is a lot cheaper than carbon fiber or fiberglass.

The typical nationwide estimation is that an engine out service for those cars is 10k, that is the common price that I have always heard for the 348 and 355

Respect to the car wizard. His practical approach to car maintenance is refreshing I like his style. A simple army mechanic gone professional.
Red line oil is of sufficient quality. But make sure you really need 15.1cst@100C and HTHS 4.4, if you only need the zinc and PAO base oil, you could easily free up quite allot of power by using regular viscosity high-tech oil such as Ravenol VSI 5W40. It could be 20HP difference.

I had a Nissan NX2000 that was sporty, fun to drive, and completely bulletproof, alot like Hoovies 348. NEVER SELL THE 348!! When your done with it, pack it away. Under covers, in the back of the garage, maybe even a shed, or storage unit. When your daughters 16 or 17 send it out for service and a detail, give it to her, as her first exotic...

When I see really unreliable cars with exceptionally high miles, I wonder to myself: should I think of this car as a rare reliable exception?...or should I think of it as a money pit someone put a million dollars into?
The two words are interchangeable but look in the dictionary to find the subtle differences.
If I could afford to buy a Ferrari, I'd also want a 348. The 348 was the first new Ferrari built after Enzo's death. The new seats look like they just came from the 80's. This is probably the highest mileage 348 in the world. Thanks.
