Why should I dual plug shovelheads,EVO's or Twincam!

- What are the advantages and disadvantages of dual plugging a set of shovelheads should I dual plug Evo or twin cam heads what are the difference in the combustion Chambers!
I dual plugged my 78 FXS back in 91. I ran wisco 10:1 pistons, Andrews B grind, S&S Super E, single fire points ignition and it was kick start only. Bike ran great and started easily cold and hot.

Do you change the plug heat range?
How much do you change the timing?
I did this to my 76 FXE no other changes

Gary you are awesome to start with. I want to send my heads for my 01 fat boy to you and gave them reworked. I need address or website or something please. Second I have 06 Electra glide also. Let’s say we do the heads. Once that’s done I was wanting the s&s 98” big bore kit. I ride like a bat out of hell. I like to go fast. At the same time though the wife does not. What would good cam options be to have both reliability, torque for Me, and be able to load darn thing up with momma full bags everything.
great video! Machinist friend at work helped me dual P the heads on my 73 shovel running an S&S E-carb, Andrews A cam, KB pistons and 1.75" drag pipes. how should I determine shorter advance degree? Trial & error?,

Hi Gary. I’ve got an 83 FXR I had cycle shack 2 into 2 and never had a problem with the exhaust bolt. I installed an RB Racing 2 into 1.... which I love....and the rear bolt just fell out for the third time. I did the first two and actually had a shop do the last install hoping it’d go better. Do you think I need an insert or that repair you were speaking of? Odd that it only happened with the new exhaust. Thanks

Gary. Love your vids! Question: Is it worth it to do this on my '99 carburated (re-jetted) TC88 motor with true dules & stage.one? Sounds like the combustion chamber on the TC engines is fairly efficient already. Thank you in advance!
