    £3 a mile :O My Hawk 27 with 2 x AQ211A's built 30 years ago giving 420 hp matches that!

The competition is just one boat: Axopar 28.

160k for a day boat if you're luck sod that mate. I'd buy a nice princess 33 sedan for under 40k new engines & gearboxes do a bit of interior upgrading total spend 100k to 110k plenty of change to cruise around the coasts....
You must need a lobotomy to spend that on a day boat.

No you´ll need money which some people have... Not everyone wants to spend more than a day on the water and when they do they'd rather be on something new with nice finishes than on an old Princess. (And comparing the price of any new boat with the price of a used one is just stupid) Also this is geared towards the Nordic market where a large part of boating consist of day excursions with bow-to mooring on any of the 100000s islands.

@@BilldalSWE if I wanted my money to go further I wouldn't be buying that for sure.

@@jonnyjones5201 If you wanted your money to go further you wouldn't buy a boat at all. Nimbus is like a german car brand. They may not always be the most practical and are certainly not the cheapest. But they have excellent quality and spend alot of time on design and finishes. Can you get a new Ford etc (or an old Mercedes) way cheaper than a brand new one. Sure, but it's ursually not the same people deciding between the two...

@@BilldalSWE hence why I said I would rather spend the money in a princess sedan cruiser new engines & gearboxes & a lil interior updating & still have money to cruiser around... to spend that amount on a day boat nah I'm more practical.

@@jonnyjones5201 Had that been all you said I wouldn't even have replied. But you also said anyone willing to must need a lobotomy which is what I reacted to. Not everyone have the same needs, economic means or use a boat in the same way you do.

@@fragu123 You're correct I was mistaken. Nimbus owns Paragon which (together with XO yachts) is what Axopar was derived from. I mixed them up.
