Looks like a pretty sweet little park. I'll have to try getting out there later this summer, since that's when all the kayak-seeking rafts of doom are gonna be out there with us lol
@HunterWhite oh yes. On the nanatahaula we dropped 6 feet at the end. It was awesome. At 65i couldn't do it now but there's one concern I have. With certain character of people in this city, they are in my neighborhood, they would see running into people as a thrill.
We were actually just discussing this the other day, Ben felt like there were better play holes in Montgomery as opposed to Charlotte. I haven’t playboated it but it seems like there were more to surf and play in!
Me and my buddies would go down a 5 mile or so stretch in kayaks on the Black Warrior. No idea how to tell you how to get there but its got a waterfall about 10 ft or so depending on the water level. Alabama has a lot of great paddlin' spots. But I do feel sorry for the rafters. It looks like they're trying to ride a schoolbus down the river.
Built in the worst place imaginable Montgomery aka the Gump... be careful on your way to & from this place... surrounded my low income and high crime...

Love it. I actually water tagged in the nanatahala in my younger years. I think this will bring good business to Montgomery
I definitely agree! Not to mention, launch the careers of some incredible paddlers as well!

If it does bring good business to this crap city then they need to lower our taxes
@@thedarknate08 are you involved with what you think that makes this city crappie?
@@kathrynnard8059 what do you mean?
This city is a dump and the sales taxes are ridiculous
If I think the playboating is trash at Charlotte, will i think its trash here too? Any good play holes or just the one wave you mentioned?

@@b2bgood870 do you live in Montgomery?
@kcg3927 No, but I have been there with family. Crime is everywhere, not just the bad areas
