Finally someone figured it out and shown in a proper way, thanks!
I was not aware you use the grid that way. Very usefull info. Thank you so much for your help.
Cheers!!
best explanation and demonstration I've seen. Thanks
Nice (& easy) way for doing it, many Thanks.
Cheers! Of course!
Yep. Perfect. Expand the guide grid to align view titles too. I use the opposite diagonal corner of the grid to place (eyeball) the intersection of the detail bubble and title underline.
Glad to see your great work back!
Thanks! Life can be hectic sometimes.... I am getting back on the horse, though... Don't worry!
THANKS .. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
Cheers! So glad I could help!
Good Tips, Please keep posting such videos
More videos man and answer the people in the comments brah. Great job and so clear.
wow, that was a great tip! thanks!
It's not letting me snap to the reference planes, any idea why? Thanks.
Thanks. Simple effective!
Can you show how to automate this with dynamo for multiple sheets?
Great as usual...
Thanks dude
THANK YOU !!!!
Nice video, but it's not letting me snap the grids on sheet, i don't know why..
any tips for re-name. re-numbering and rearanging it?
Dynamo or a plugin… 😉
I can't snap to anything on my sheet. Neither grids or reference planes. Do you know what might be the reason for that?
Place reference plane inside of your view and then deactivate the view and try to move it. Reference planes now will get detected and you'll be able to snap easily.
It seems it works only with perpendicular planes!
Nice. Been bothered by this a long time. Now i can sleep in peace. Thank you.
roman2011 cheers man! You’re not the only one ;)
Love your attitude dude! Love this stuff. And they pay us hahahahahahaha
thank you
Cheers!
WHY does REVIT have to keep being so cumbersome? Why not just allow us to pick an INSERTION POINT (Like...I dunnno..AutoCAD). Instead we have to add yet another step of making Ref Planes, then aligning to them. Why not just align to the entities/OSNAPs that we want?
Not ragging on your video, I appreciate the TIp...but AutoDesk just keeps finding ways to make things more difficult than necessary.
How do we align the view title, though?
Good
great
What if the corners changes during levels ;-D GRID LINE ARE FINE :-)
Oddly you can only snap to orthogonal reference planes. At least that's what's happening in my model
Nice, but why not just copy a line ?
1. after this, need to delete those line (you may forgot)
