Thank you Nick. I have been working with REVIT for over 17 years now, but still I learn things from your pamphlets and videos.

This video is crucial to working with families! Thank you, Nick! The first time I watched the video it wasn't very clear, because I used "Tab" when aligning and picked a Weak Reference line so it behaved as Strong Reference (stretched). Now few months passed and I've just got a difference between RP, it's the order of references without using "Tab".🤯

For 20 years I've had no idea what the difference between strong and weak reference planes are until now 😂. Thanks nick.

Thanks Nick for still tremendous pure Rvt guides. Small note: since BIM pure pamphlet came out PDF file size got ~3 times bigger...which the first blue page alone is 3meg size. Previous RevitPure pamphlets were at nimble size. Thought you might know.....Cheers for the dedications !

Great point, we'll look into how we can reduce the file size.

Thank you! Been working in Revit for 5 years but always confused about weak and strong reference! But still have question. When editing family RP within family editor how when I have 2 RP, sometimes is moving one RP and another remains at the same position but I need viceversa ???🙄

OMG, I GOT IT. I read Pamphlet #32 about Reference Planes form BIM pure, where in #8 is explained that REFERENCE PLANES HAVE A DIRECTION! Reference planes have a “front face” and a “back face”. This affects on the orientation of geometry assigned to the plane.🤦‍♂
