It'd be nice if they ever add a new weapon, specifically a rifle, and it's not an energy or gauss weapon. I think the last time we got a new ballistic rifle was the fixer; which it's not bad, it's just it doesn't fit my aesthetic, also it's basically a re-skinned combat rifle. The compound bow does not count, neither do the new crossbow mods added in Wastelanders, and if you say either of them do I feel like you're insulting me. The gall at the time of "oh, here's all these cool new weapons like the gauss shotgun, the gauss minigun, a buzz-saw gauntlet, dynamite, and the plasma-caster", and rifleman people are like "cool, so what do we get?" and we just get handed mods for the crossbow and a compound bow. The weapons added in other updates didn't help either. I'd be satiated if they added semi-auto powerful receivers for base-game rifles; there's full-auto powerful ones, but if the best we get is either hardened or prime, it almost feels insulting.

If you know a ma could you pass this on please. Install, 1,Cheat room and its Automatron patch. 2, Skip prewar sanctuary 3, Hired guns 2 4, AFT amazing follower tweaks. Start a new game and exit the vault. Now go straight to sanctuary's chem bench and craft a Hired guns 2 holotape. Spawn 3 of the females ( Molly, Annie, Abigail ) and then head to the cheat room on foot don't fast travel. Go in the cheat room and as soon as you spawn head towards the workbenches down the back and you should start to get the bad stuttering. Turn around and go back near the exit and you will catch a npc going in and out of the old cheat room hatch and every time will cause the stutter even with you standing still. I also noticed if a npc lags behind and has to catch up it will stutter but only if the Automatron patch is loaded. Now go to mod menu disable the Automatron patch and start a new game and do the same thing again and you will notice a difference. I didn't get any stuttering at all and they have no interest to even go in that hatch. I tried the Far harbor and Nuka world cheat room patches and no stuttering with them it only seems to be the Automatron patch. I can modify the looks of the 3 followers and have no issues at all when that Automatron patch isn't added. Now I do have CC content on aswell tho and I am currently playing the game and no issues without that patch, well except the CC content they broke. Also I am on xbone

yeah, the engine version of FO76 would greatly benefit from backporting Starfields new features like variable shading, variable resolution and performance optimizations. Especially the server portion of FO76 is outdated regarding its performance bottlenecks when handling full worlds.
So.. end game content at the moment is all about legendaries, and they are making that easier. But we still have a huge lack of end game content worth doing, and the content they are adding isnt worth doing. So literally nothing has been fixed here, just changed in all the most useless ways. End game content i would define as content that even a person with the best gear, maxed stats, or min-maxed build would have trouble completing solo. Content that offers a challenge, some kind of interaction. As it stands i run a silo and solo queen never leaving vats. Same with earle, these thing are just not in line with the power creep players have received. Id like to see a gameplay loop that offers some sort of challenge and reward system when i have my build set up already. I would love to see something along the line of max WoW or ESO raids. Something that actually takes a little brain power and skill to complete, rather than 3 people at Earle wiping it in under a minute. That being said; they spoiled some sort of raid system and some other content that will be coming, which im hoping hits these marks.

Making bosses more tanky will definitely help when the only boss event people consistently show up for is the queen and sometimes the 3 robots. Bosses need adaptive health so you aren't just f.cked when 3 people show up to Colossal problem, not to mention the rewards on all of them are completely useless in 2024

Idea for the caravan quest after upgrading everything they should add more atom quest to the carvan for later levels after completing everything which should keep players doing them to get free atoms
So they're adding a repeatable escort mission, which is historically gamers favorite kind of mission., and to make it worth doing you'd need to run it around 50 times potentially? At 20 minutes a pop thats 16 hours of escorting a cow. That is the most asinine form of content padding I have ever heard of in my life. Bet there'll be a way to speed it up in the atomic shop though.
From what Juice said it'll only take 50 times on lowest load helping others for yourself on highest load it's like 15 or 20 resources per load and if you're helping you'd get 5
i have too many expedition stamps i don't know what to do with them and they release this BS... seriously. after killing off the trading scene i doubt player retention will be as good for players over level 800. guess i'll rank up to 100 on the scoreboard the first couple days after it drops and stop renewing FO1st until the next season if this is the direction they're heading.
I would like to see them focus on bug fixes and performance upgrades. The game still feels like it's in beta and it's too old to be having some of the problems it does. Performance over everything.

As long as people keep playing and spending money on Fallout 76, we won't be seeing a new fallout any time soon. Same thing with elder scrolls online. They have no reason to push the single-player games when the online ones make more money. I stopped playing Fallout 76 when I realized I was spending more of my time dealing with the stupid limited inventory than actually playing the game.
Microsoft has literally said that they want Bethesda to make another Fallout game sooner than later. And no, people playing 76 isn't going to stop that, if anything it's actually going to fund it since it shows people are still interested. Bethesda has made multiple free expansions for both of these games, what do you expect them to do, just not fund the game at all?
Now if only they could add a even more private mode that has a smaller player cap, but also enables more in depth MODS much like old fallout games. *Players can host on their own PC, Local Co-Op, or on a server they set up themselves*
I like your complaints and propose the following as solutons: 1000 caravan money for 10 legendary modules = repeatable motivation to keep caravaning (or some large sum that gets you a bundle of endgame stuff like modules or nuclear crafting materials, large enough cost that you have to grind multiple caravans but a big enough reward to be worth doing) and a "double agent" milepost zero staff who you can give abuncha supplies like ammo and junk to "supply" a raider raid on your own caravan and then the boss fight is a multiphase gorilla style raid on the caravan, and you deplete a percentage of the bosses health with each ambush
I can see how this update would be exciting to new players. Those of us who still play since launch would like more budget & storage, and more map expansions.
Man Bethesda is speed running the demise of fallout 76 after having some good updates that wouldn't of been needed had they finished the game on release
I think there should be the ability for co-op and vs caravans. Co-op people can join for their own rewards. Vs you can kill and be killed but get better rewards for finishing the caravan.

as a new player - you're very right at the end, if they keep adding more choice heavy content then single-player fallout players will enjoy that. I'd also enjoy if they would actually add more radiant quests beyond dailies and add more roaming npcs and increase enemy difficulty, beyond the power fantasy the game feels too easy, but it's fun just wish there was more decisive things to do in the wasteland and more quests.

I remember the last time I ever ran that Mr messenger quest. Made it all the way to the destination with half an hour to spare and got stuck on the stairs. Spent the whole time trying to figure out a way to nudge him the right way to no success.

I'm gonna be honest man, and I get this isn't the case for everyone. But I'm almost level 2000 and have every plan that can be bought for caps and gold. The only time I spend caps is fast traveling or rarely finding something I want in a player shop. Having something to use my caps on (finally) is a welcome addition to me. Especially because it doesn't even take me 5 minutes to get 1k
When you got to the needing more difficulty part.... No. Not not everything has to be super difficult because then they will make the lower tier ones more of a slog and that is the last thing we need is the meta high tiers ruining it for everyone because they got the rewards to fast doing the super difficult one you're begging for. Not every piece of content in a game has to be the ultimate struggle for survival.
The game needs some content for regular players with a noticeable difficulty. Currently the game heavily caters to new players and a clueless audience. Still, Bethesda can not rely solely on new players to pay the cost of running the live service. There are many other games and only a limited audience and time to spare per person - especially in the games late life cycle. IF there is nothing engaging to do, the regular players drop off. The TV show player number boost is already mostly gone. As of now nothing in FO76 is challenging when you understand the game and use the available mechanics. Any proper mid level player can solo each event including the bosses. On full servers events like Mothman Equinox or even Eviction notice turn into a boring waiting game because the enemies die so quickly and the spawn rate is slow. Solo Earle with a combat shotgun. Easy. Expeditions were supposed to be "harder", yet people run them in less than 10 minutes without ever dying. So I welcome any attempt to include even the tiniest bit of challenging content in the game, and something that breaks the stale loop of repetition.
Maybe it's just me, but with MMO games especially I tend to find myself wondering why a new mechanic is added as a standalone feature if it's not got a huge amount of depth to it. This isn't saying the idea of caravaning in Fallout 76 is bad, it's just that like Juice said, you run out of reasons to do it after a week or so, which isn't great for a game minimum quarterly updates. They should really be looking at how to tie these new features into the existing ones to create a richer game experience overall. Wouldn't it be great if say, you're at a settlement and you don't like what the vendor has on offer but there's a few days to the weekly reset, so instead you can run the largest caravan size to said vendor and reset the wares they have on offer. Or if running a caravan to a faction gave you an improved reputation with said faction. Wouldn't it be interesting if instead of just the creatures attacking the caravan, it was the raider faction, and they wouldn't try to kill the Brahman but either steal stuff from its packs, or if the player is far enough away, herd the brahman off the path and toward their own base. And that it'd be possible for them to steal everything and you fail to deliver the caravan that way. If the feature was properly tied into the world then players would have a reason to continuously interact with it and it'd give greater benefits to actually using it beyond just "new stuff."

I hope that she easier to get legendary cores if you need those in the next update somewhere in the past, I noticed that they Nerf those from getting them in events because I have loads of legendary modules, but not that many
I'm just so glad that they fixed the maps. And if they make the next expansion like they did for 63, I'm going to be really excited. I loved all those ambient noises in the background, and the creepy voice lines from the ghouls.
Ive watched several videos trying to explain the milepost quest and you'rr the first to explain that this might be like an encrypted type of event where other players are alerted to help. Weird how an info this important arent mentioned at all
They should pay attention and fix the game crashes (app errors) too. Give more storage space if not infinite it’s limiting my experience and I don’t want to pay the annual fallout 1st and want to save money. They should be more considerate with people’s money
Buying the stuff for caps from caravan vendors is good - Look at the amount of complaining about the Expedition Stamp grind. Bethesda listened to the players. But, as per usual, even when they do what the players ask them to do, the players still complain....

When I saw them announce fallout 76 I was so excited and I almost pre-ordered the game......... Until they revealed it won't be offline single player. So I haven't played the game. I have absolutely no interest in playing any game online.
Looking forward to best builds. But I curious how and what camps get picked. If it’s up to Bethesda to pick entries, then I can see this being disappointing for some players. As their camps may never get featured.
Take it from someone with way too many hours in 76 ... this game is some of the most boring brain rot you will ever play. Great community .... Skyline was ok nothing to write home to mom about. The most fun I've had in 76 in the last year was do to a bug bethesda implemented by accident :P
I'm at a point that nothing about Bethesda really exites me anymore the new crafting system looks as grindy and stupid as the old crafting system (for legendaries) does. If you dependent on the mod drop nothing really changes from the stupidity of how it is now. Milepost update great another event update that will get a ton of players back for one week. After that we will a have broken op builds emerge around that weapon or Bethesda nerves it into the ground. Only thing that is good enough to peek my interest is the camp feature.
Too busy playing an actual real and good fallout game called Fallout London to give a stuff about that monetised, buggy, badly optimised, boring piece of shite.
You do realize that Fallout London has plenty of its own problems and the devs in no way wish for players to act like their free mod is better than Bethesda's games especially since their game was literally made using an engine and assets made by Bethesda. And Fallout 76 hasn't been buggy since it's release as well as the monetization being a necessity. If you truly expect Bethesda NOT to monetize the game that they release constant free expansions for, then that's just you showing your lack of knowledge for developing games.

End game content i would define as content that even a person with the best gear, maxed stats, or min-maxed build would have trouble completing solo. Content that offers a challenge, some kind of interaction. As it stands i run a silo and solo queen never leaving vats. Same with earle, these thing are just not in line with the power creep players have received.
Id like to see a gameplay loop that offers some sort of challenge and reward system when i have my build set up already. I would love to see something along the line of max WoW or ESO raids. Something that actually takes a little brain power and skill to complete, rather than 3 people at Earle wiping it in under a minute.
That being said; they spoiled some sort of raid system and some other content that will be coming, which im hoping hits these marks.
I like the Best Build CAMP feature. I'm a sucker for building camps and getting inspired, so I'm looking forward to that feature being added.

Idea for the caravan quest after upgrading everything they should add more atom quest to the carvan for later levels after completing everything which should keep players doing them to get free atoms
So they're adding a repeatable escort mission, which is historically gamers favorite kind of mission., and to make it worth doing you'd need to run it around 50 times potentially? At 20 minutes a pop thats 16 hours of escorting a cow. That is the most asinine form of content padding I have ever heard of in my life. Bet there'll be a way to speed it up in the atomic shop though.
From what Juice said it'll only take 50 times on lowest load helping others for yourself on highest load it's like 15 or 20 resources per load and if you're helping you'd get 5
i have too many expedition stamps i don't know what to do with them and they release this BS... seriously. after killing off the trading scene i doubt player retention will be as good for players over level 800.

As long as people keep playing and spending money on Fallout 76, we won't be seeing a new fallout any time soon. Same thing with elder scrolls online. They have no reason to push the single-player games when the online ones make more money.
I stopped playing Fallout 76 when I realized I was spending more of my time dealing with the stupid limited inventory than actually playing the game.
Microsoft has literally said that they want Bethesda to make another Fallout game sooner than later. And no, people playing 76 isn't going to stop that, if anything it's actually going to fund it since it shows people are still interested. Bethesda has made multiple free expansions for both of these games, what do you expect them to do, just not fund the game at all?

I like your complaints and propose the following as solutons:
1000 caravan money for 10 legendary modules = repeatable motivation to keep caravaning (or some large sum that gets you a bundle of endgame stuff like modules or nuclear crafting materials, large enough cost that you have to grind multiple caravans but a big enough reward to be worth doing)
and a "double agent" milepost zero staff who you can give abuncha supplies like ammo and junk to "supply" a raider raid on your own caravan and then the boss fight is a multiphase gorilla style raid on the caravan, and you deplete a percentage of the bosses health with each ambush
I can see how this update would be exciting to new players. Those of us who still play since launch would like more budget & storage, and more map expansions.

I think there should be the ability for co-op and vs caravans. Co-op people can join for their own rewards. Vs you can kill and be killed but get better rewards for finishing the caravan.

@@Klaxir The "next gen" update broke a lot of mods, the new ultrawide "support" literally just stretches the screen making everything distorted with wider monitors, Steam Deck support is/was broken, and was responsible for the delay in Fallout London being released.

as a new player - you're very right at the end, if they keep adding more choice heavy content then single-player fallout players will enjoy that. I'd also enjoy if they would actually add more radiant quests beyond dailies and add more roaming npcs and increase enemy difficulty, beyond the power fantasy the game feels too easy, but it's fun just wish there was more decisive things to do in the wasteland and more quests.

I remember the last time I ever ran that Mr messenger quest. Made it all the way to the destination with half an hour to spare and got stuck on the stairs. Spent the whole time trying to figure out a way to nudge him the right way to no success.

I'm gonna be honest man, and I get this isn't the case for everyone. But I'm almost level 2000 and have every plan that can be bought for caps and gold. The only time I spend caps is fast traveling or rarely finding something I want in a player shop. Having something to use my caps on (finally) is a welcome addition to me. Especially because it doesn't even take me 5 minutes to get 1k

When you got to the needing more difficulty part.... No. Not not everything has to be super difficult because then they will make the lower tier ones more of a slog and that is the last thing we need is the meta high tiers ruining it for everyone because they got the rewards to fast doing the super difficult one you're begging for. Not every piece of content in a game has to be the ultimate struggle for survival.
The game needs some content for regular players with a noticeable difficulty. Currently the game heavily caters to new players and a clueless audience. Still, Bethesda can not rely solely on new players to pay the cost of running the live service. There are many other games and only a limited audience and time to spare per person - especially in the games late life cycle. IF there is nothing engaging to do, the regular players drop off. The TV show player number boost is already mostly gone.
As of now nothing in FO76 is challenging when you understand the game and use the available mechanics. Any proper mid level player can solo each event including the bosses. On full servers events like Mothman Equinox or even Eviction notice turn into a boring waiting game because the enemies die so quickly and the spawn rate is slow. Solo Earle with a combat shotgun. Easy. Expeditions were supposed to be "harder", yet people run them in less than 10 minutes without ever dying. So I welcome any attempt to include even the tiniest bit of challenging content in the game, and something that breaks the stale loop of repetition.
Maybe it's just me, but with MMO games especially I tend to find myself wondering why a new mechanic is added as a standalone feature if it's not got a huge amount of depth to it.
This isn't saying the idea of caravaning in Fallout 76 is bad, it's just that like Juice said, you run out of reasons to do it after a week or so, which isn't great for a game minimum quarterly updates. They should really be looking at how to tie these new features into the existing ones to create a richer game experience overall.
Wouldn't it be great if say, you're at a settlement and you don't like what the vendor has on offer but there's a few days to the weekly reset, so instead you can run the largest caravan size to said vendor and reset the wares they have on offer.
Or if running a caravan to a faction gave you an improved reputation with said faction.
Wouldn't it be interesting if instead of just the creatures attacking the caravan, it was the raider faction, and they wouldn't try to kill the Brahman but either steal stuff from its packs, or if the player is far enough away, herd the brahman off the path and toward their own base. And that it'd be possible for them to steal everything and you fail to deliver the caravan that way.
If the feature was properly tied into the world then players would have a reason to continuously interact with it and it'd give greater benefits to actually using it beyond just "new stuff."

I hope that she easier to get legendary cores if you need those in the next update somewhere in the past, I noticed that they Nerf those from getting them in events because I have loads of legendary modules, but not that many
I'm just so glad that they fixed the maps. And if they make the next expansion like they did for 63, I'm going to be really excited. I loved all those ambient noises in the background, and the creepy voice lines from the ghouls.

Buying the stuff for caps from caravan vendors is good - Look at the amount of complaining about the Expedition Stamp grind. Bethesda listened to the players. But, as per usual, even when they do what the players ask them to do, the players still complain....

Take it from someone with way too many hours in 76 ... this game is some of the most boring brain rot you will ever play. Great community .... Skyline was ok nothing to write home to mom about. The most fun I've had in 76 in the last year was do to a bug bethesda implemented by accident :P
A 1% chance to learn a mod..yeah i can just feel the painful grinding people are going to have to do to get that one mod that they want.
I'm at a point that nothing about Bethesda really exites me anymore the new crafting system looks as grindy and stupid as the old crafting system (for legendaries) does. If you dependent on the mod drop nothing really changes from the stupidity of how it is now. Milepost update great another event update that will get a ton of players back for one week. After that we will a have broken op builds emerge around that weapon or Bethesda nerves it into the ground. Only thing that is good enough to peek my interest is the camp feature.
Too busy playing an actual real and good fallout game called Fallout London to give a stuff about that monetised, buggy, badly optimised, boring piece of shite.
You do realize that Fallout London has plenty of its own problems and the devs in no way wish for players to act like their free mod is better than Bethesda's games especially since their game was literally made using an engine and assets made by Bethesda. And Fallout 76 hasn't been buggy since it's release as well as the monetization being a necessity. If you truly expect Bethesda NOT to monetize the game that they release constant free expansions for, then that's just you showing your lack of knowledge for developing games.
