Glass Joe's starting with the Infinite showing why he's not any higher, and then showing that him being small makes him ridiculously agile for early title defense, making his combos pretty dangerous
Genuinely surprised that major circuit Don and Piston Hondo rank pretty low and that minor circuit King Hippo is harder than both, granted it’s probably not that much harder compared to the top 5 on here, but viewing it vs actually playing it are 2 different experiences
@Baller_true one big part of piston hondo after king hippo is the fact he has a reasonable amount of HP, so it feels like you're actually making progress, unless KH who has so much health, he's knocked you down twice before you've knocked him once (even though you only actually need to knock him once)
@@minimum850 oh hell nah i just watched a video that shows how much hp the opponents have and contender king hippo has 250. Title Defense is 255. And with our bare punches we get him to half in a few seconds. HOW MUCH DAMAGE DOES LITTLE MAC PUNCHES DO TO KING HIPPO CONSIDERING ALLAT HP
I'd like to say TD Great Tiger's fight is just a bit easier because if you learn the colored patterns, it tells you exactly where he's going to punch from But at the same time, his Tiger Rush is the tricky part, so I can see why he is ranked #6 Also 24:01
Now that i think it, Aran Ryan kind of represents Super Punch Out of the SNES since to hit him you gotta interrupt his attack, he moves around the arena instead of staying in place, he literally headbutts you like Masked Muscle, and in TD he basically copies Heike Kagero's hair attack (and Nick/Rick Bruiser's elbow hits too)
Realistically every fight should get a little harder than the last, to create a natural hill of difficulty leading to the finale with sandman or even dk in mac’s last stand. But ig that’s not how this game works. I personally would have swapped: King Hippo with Piston Hondo Great Tiger with Don Flamenco Soda Popinski with Bald Bull

@@colemarlowe4665 hippo's weight is already ???, and I don't think the issue is weight class, it's that both of the "comically fat" characters are in the major circuit
@@Weg002 I understand I was just making a joke don’t worry👌I wouldn’t know what to do about the actual problem of both the heavies being in the major circuit tho
I’d argue that both versions of Disco Kid are infinitely easier than the vast majority of characters other than Glass Joe, the thing about Disco Kid is that all his moves can be ducked, every single one of them, meaning that there is absolutely mental pressure in trying to figure out which way you need to dodge as a new player. Every time he’s about to throw something out, duck and counter, sure, it’s not the most efficient way to do it, but if we’re talking about ease then Disco Kid is way easier than many characters just because you can systematically do it without even looking at the screen
He has beaten Glass Joe to Bear Hugger. He’s also beaten that dude that gave everyone traumatic memories and he also flat out thinks that TD Tiger is as easy as normal Glass Joe. He pretty much gave up on the Glass Joe Speedrun strat, he has done TD Tiger strat though. He honestly thinks that Tiger might be easier than Joe. By the way he also struggled really bad with disco kid. I know this sounds like rage bait but he REALLY thinks this. This started when I went to beat TD Tiger. I was nervous because everyone struggled. So I decided to use the Speedrun strategy and it was… oddly easy considering the massive amount of struggling I had with TD Bear. So I gave my brother the controller and taught him the strategy to see if he could do it. After a while, he did.
I think the fact that Don Flamenco can be stun-locked should put him a bit earlier on in the list. Also, Glass Joe and Von Kaiser should swap places, because Von Kaiser can be taken down in like 3 hits.

I haven’t played the game, what makes TD Soda Popinski harder than TD Sandman? Cause TD Sandman is the only one you lost health on? Aren’t TD Sandman’s attacks frame perfect?
@@mikespiehs8860 TD Soda requires both quick reaction times and not getting hit. There are ways to cheese both fights, but fighting Soda the default way is incredibly difficult as his stun lengths are based on how many times you’ve dodged his attacks without getting hit. Every time you get hit by Soda, his stun goes back to 2 punches. Whereas Sandman’s fight, aside from the winking uppercuts, goes almost exactly the same way as his first fight.
I genuinely don’t get why people think TD Soda Popinski is difficult. My first time playing title defense I beat him taking no damage round 1. Fighting Bald Bull TD was so much worse bc the star opportunities are so inconsistent that it became my least favorite fight, and now that I’m doing exhibition, I dread fighting Bald Bull again. I mean to each their own but I just don’t see it.
I never got past sandman so I’m confused. Why the hell is td glass joe considered harder then some of the others when all you do is just land a star punch and just win?
Unless you Star Punch him, you can't land any jabs (your attacks are blocked), meaning you can normally only hit his body. Also, when you land a star punch, you gotta keep an eye on his helmet; it will glow golden for 2 hits. Hit him in the head during the 1st, then body punch during 2nd for an extra star.
From what I hear, TD Soda has a momentum system where, if you don't mess up, he becomes easier and easier to juggle. But make one mistake, and everything goes downhill fast.
What makes TD Popinsky harder than TD Sandman is because he increases his hitting speed as the fight progresses. Add to that the fact that he can only TKO him (although he has IKD) and add to that he hits almost as hard as TD Sandman
I do not personally understand why so many people struggle with soda popinski especially in title defense all three that come after him have always given me more problems especially bald bull

@@tomaszpawlik5091 and is hard to calculate the time when popinski is going to hit you
@@tomaszpawlik5091 popinski is scripted, no matter what hell always have the same schedule, its easy to learn realy
@@nathandoner8860 his uppercuts keep getting faster as hes kod, for me its hard to take a mental note that you are the one that got put down not him and combo will be slower not faster
As i thought the soda popinski will be hardest... why? Just use logic, He's from Russia = as we known russia the strongest country in world! L - logic
