The funniest part is that's an old trick from the NES version. Counter his first punch and he's defenseless as long as you keep jabbing with lefts and rights
There’s also an infinite in his Title Defense fight. You jab him twice with alternating punches and then hook him with the side opposite of the jab you just threw-L jab, R jab, L hook for example.
@@Ark........... the reason Flamenco gets infinites is that he had infinites in the original punch out. For KOing Bald Bull in Contender, you have this alternative way: Counter his Bull Charge with a 3-Star Punch. If you never get hit before that, once is enough. If you did get hit, twice will do the trick.
Actually his title defense fight is possible in the same way, however you may want to counter the Bull Rush with a normal attack and THEN do the Lv.3 Star Punch for an easier time pulling that off (at least the taking no damage part).
This must be pretty strange for the audience to watch one boxer absolutely annihilate the other for the first minute or so before playing really defensively for the rest of the round.
Something I’ve always been interested in is seeing how many fights in both circuits are possible to win via specifically a 10-count KO? No cutscene KO, no TKO, no decision. Obviously some are impossible like TD Bald Bull and King Hippo, but what about the others?
@@00F There’s actually zero recorded footage of a Sandman 10-count KO on the internet afaik. Do you think going through all the possible fights would be a potential video?
I hope that Nintendo makes the next Punch Out game have a story like the Creed movies, where Little Mac retires (maybe by injury so he can keep his legendary undefeated streak) and decides to train a new kid to take his spot. It could also have flashback sequences to Little Mac's past where he fights new opponents that are seen in the corners of the present day fighters.

Don Flamenco: You need to have a perfect run here. First, you need to perform the infinite combo. Once he gets up, counter his uppercut and IMMEDIATELY use the star punch you got to KO him. 5 and 6: Aran Ryan. You can 3-star punch Aran after you block his headbutt OR land a total seven star punches on him. 7. Bald Bull: You can 3-star punch Bald Bull to counter his Bull charge. You must have a perfect run for it to work. 8. Super Macho Man: You can 3-star punch Super Macho man after he performs the first 2 spins on his clothesline attack.
