The pace of Little Mac's career is absolutely astonishing, fighting dozens of matches over the course of less than a year probably left at least SOME irreparable damage.
it's not clear whether or not he's jumping before or after the punch. even going frame-by-frame, it looks like he's on the ground one frame, and by the next he's both off the ground and past the punch connecting. and as said, jumping by itself is whatever. -Hitting Aran Ryan while he is going down (despite it being very well-deserved) is an infraction. You are not allowed to hit someone going down nor someone who is already down.
-In order to compete in professional boxing, the boxer is required to compete in 20 matches... so this is definitely an infraction you commit in this playthrough when you hit World Circuit.
Some stuff for opponents:
-Hair must be short or styled correctly as to avoid vision being obscured OR it getting yanked out.
-Attacks with the sides of gloves are not allowed.
-Taunting is an infraction because it is disrespectful and unsportsmanlike, though this is typically up to the ref to decide.
-Doping is very against the rules.
I would love to see Books on Boxing Rules and Regulations that state: “ No Magic including but not limited to teleportation and cloning, and no manhole covers.”
Well, the manhole cover counts as body armor
Might be covered by the same rules as horseshoes and weapons
To be honest, I’d say the Manhole Cover would count as outside weaponry/armor.
Add “no using animals” to that list.
I'm surprised that the Cleanest Fighter is a tie between Mr. Sandman and _Bald Bull_ of all fighters, though if you did include the losing animations against all the fighters, I'm certain Bald Bull would get an infraction for *attacking the referee* in Title Defence.
Well Sandman is one of the cleanest inside the ring but destroying a building with his bare hands means that he's the only one outside of Aran Ryan who has potentially killed a man.
Not just an infraction, a lifetime ban.
@@Zetact_ he could have likely killed multiple people in that building.
@@exi_m7074 tbh if they didn't leave the moment they sensed he was outside the building that's their own fault /s
Doesn't Bald Bull headbutt you with the bull charge?
I love how the lore of the Punch Out series paints Bad Bull as this villainous character, but fights without a single infraction.
Until he attacks the ref.
I find it wild that Aran Ryan had so few infractions in his contender fight due to getting IKOed.
is trying to swing when getting knocked down illegal? he clearly makes an attempt to hit mac
@@HelpMein and he does actually hit mac in title defense with the illegal equipment, so wouldn't that be like 2 infractions there?
3 bring out the flail actually issuing the flail hitting while going down
Intent to cheat is also a rule break
@@HelpMein yes it is , when you show signs of falling or getting knocked out that means you are preparing to fall and the referee is ready to count down , attempts to hit can be disorienting for everybody it counts as a infraction either way if it was expected
In total aran Ryan had about 19 infractions, WOW
The first 4 fights, Mac shouldn't be penalized for being too young. It is the Minor Circuit, after all.

Just got the joke as I was about to scroll through the comments
Ironic, considering the two oldest boxers, Glass Joe and Von Kaiser, are in this circuit

When you really think about it, during title defense, how many boxers legitimately wanted to kill Little Mac?

Yes
I think Piston Hondo is the only one who had no ill intentions with Mac. He’s the only one keeping it together and being a complete professional
@@cindyskullz what about Disco kid?
@@MikeHawk-bg5ss U Right. Dude just wants to dance, he could care less about Mac lol.
@@cindyskullz same with glass Joe as the man literally just wanted to box and wasn't really pissed off much within the fact that he lost again, he was just nervous about his amount of concussions.
29:40 I love that it's slowed down only for the “Release the… bogus” line.
Technically offering an opponent a free hit would be an infraction. Aran does that a few times
Boxing has weird rules

Infraction #69: Mac is too Young
This shit writes itself.
People who don't know what 69 *actually* means: HaHa fUnNy nUmBeR Go bRr1!1
I saw it and was like:
Why do I hear pedos unite?
Every time Ryan throws a punch it's likely an infraction
Intent to cheat with the horseshoes is an infraction but using them is a different infraction
I like how Great Tiger pretty much almost doubled the speed due to his magic use, the gym they fight at must be mafia owned to allow all this
I love that Mac's age is counted for EVERY fight
I was thinking to myself 'surely you'd only count it the one time.' But then, who keeps permitting this underage boxer into the ring, so it would keep being an infraction
Makes it even funnier when you realize that means he literally retires after a single year boxing since he’s 17 during his fight with glass Joe
I mean Benitez became champ at 17. I'm not sure where they got this rule from. If you want a more recent example then Zayas fought at age 17 in 2019.
once went down a fandom wiki rabbit role and read through every punch-out character's list of (incredibly in-depth) rule infractions so i am so hyped this video exists

@@Beta-TheJNot even for your safety, for HIS!
Mac is such a good boy that the only rule he'll break in a fight is being too young
Well, technically 2 in fighting outside of his weight class.
But when you’ve got people over 400 pounds fighting and a literal gorilla that probably weighs over 600? Maybe weight classes aren’t that big of a stopping point
He also has unpropper attire, no shirts allowed
@@pacolozanogonzalez7551 oh, i didn't know that's actually improper attire, i honestly thought boxing attire is shirtless because of the combat sport involving a lot of sweat, and that a tank top would've been fine since it doesn't interfere by for example being too long sleeved since it doesn't have any.
@@Chillwave6 i guess it follows the same principle than no beards, it may help cushion some lighter hits and even slip them off if you're sweaty enough you wet the shirt
His 3-star punch involves him going into the air, which could be considered a jump attack, and spinning in the air which briefly turns his back on the opponent.
The crazy thing about Aran Ryan is that if we sped up from every one of his infractions, he alone would speed up the video by 4×
Mac started Super Macho Man at 69 infractions and ended Super Macho Man 2 at 169 infractions.

@@daiganmonceaux7347 Oh, then Jack was right all along
you forgot the infractions for mac being in the wrong weight class, he's not even heavy enough to face glass joe
Nope, in amateur wrestling and boxing, a smaller fighter (or female fighter because the people who standardized the rules decided women were weaker) can volunteer to fight in a heavier division (or an equivalent men's division).
@deadersurvival4716 Women ARE weaker, you idiot. Massively so. So much so that a woman in peak physical condition is still at a disadvantage against an untrained man. It's like a man fighting a chimp.
...however Disco kid is litterly at the complete opposite end of the weight class spectrum, and Little Mac should've been tested for speed after that win
@@GuyWhoWatchesStuffand then there’s Bear Hugger, who is 4 times Mac’s weight, and King Hippo, who is so heavy that they couldn’t even weigh him, likely because he broke all of the scales they tried to weigh him with. @@gladoseon4117 and DK, I hope I don't need to explain the problem with the weight of and strength of a gorilla
15:07 - Dropping the soda bottle on the floor while passed out should be considered littering.
Little Mac became the champion, defended his title, fought DK and retired all before he was actually allowed to fight
I definitely think a lot of maneuvers should count as unsportsmanlike conduct and/or throwing the fight. Like, say, Bear Hugger stopping to blow a raspberry at Little Mac or Piston Hondo _bowing mid-round._
Well the bowing is a sportsmanship thing in japan, but yeah the raspberry is absolutely unsportsmanlike
Disco kid having a Disco Ball before the match is an infraction
Donkey Kong bringing gloves from home "aka D.K Island" and not having them inspected, having his gloves and tie advertised, eating banana's during an intermission, dropping down from a staircase out of nowhere with a barrel and bananas, taunting are infractions
Both the disco ball and the barrel/bananas are items for entrance theatrics and thus allowed
After the first fights: Speed has increased, the video is going slightly faster.
After Great Tiger: The video has snorted cocaine.
MAC I JUST SNORTED AN ENTIRE SUITCASE FULL OF COC AND IM STARTING TO FEEL THE EFFECTS!!
You've forgotten the obvious infractions of nobody wearing mouth guards
I don't think it's necessary
They do actually have mouth guards. In promotional art of Mac knocking out Glass Joe you can see his mouth guard in the air.
I think that's not necessary something I would consider obvious the weight classes
Donkey Kong has his own branding on his items
Consider how fast the video would be if all the corner infractions were included

That 1st Glass Joe fight was just pure incineration.
Aran Ryan SNES: Played fair
Aran Ryan Wii: Cheat here, cheat there, infractions everywhere!
In the SNES version he utilizes clinching which is normally allowed, except he deals harm during the clinch, which is illegal
Gotta say hearing Alvin say super macho man and then spinning while missing all his punches and THEN getting an uppercut is quite funny
Might be a minor thing, but wouldn't Great Tiger's teleporting before the start of the match be considered part of stage theatrics, and therefore not be an intraction?
The rest of his magic, though, definitely illegal.
Why though
Is it not simply more advanced dodging?
Good point
Ain't no rule about teleporting inside the ring

The fact that out of all the fighters in the Circuits, the only one to have the cleanest possible fight with Mac is *Bald Bull* is hilarious for me
Disco kid was clean in the minor circuit. Honestly Bald Bull's charge is probably some form of illegal

You forgot that the intent to cheat and actually cheating are different so Aron Ryan would be breaking 2 rules for the horse shoe in his gloves
I'd tally every time that Great Tiger's gem flashes as an infraction - surely counts as something that's not allowed as it'd be distracting!
The presence of the gem itself and the fact it flashes when he uses his abilities means it's an item that puts him at an unfair advantage simply by being worn.
Don't forget Super Macho Man (His special attack makes cameras flare more)
Unfortunately, its covered due to being a religious headpiece.
@@bytescientistrealthe gem isn’t part of that, so it is still illegal
"Use of magic," "Teleporting," and "Use of clones" being illegal is amazing
It’s funny how even as slight a difference as 8% things start sounding weird
While I'm sure "magic" and "clones" aren't included in the rule book, I'm sure it'd fall under the "air bud clause", along with the ladder could be argued as "illegal teaming."
Just goes to show, if you want to box with little rules, just apply for the wvba
Love how it was a pretty normal speed until King Hippo, at which point it really went off the rails.
I guess it makes sense that every time he boxes, time passes, and he never ages enough to be of legal age.
Well! This isn't a place I expected to see you-
The pace of Little Mac's career is absolutely astonishing, fighting dozens of matches over the course of less than a year probably left at least SOME irreparable damage.
MAC IS TOO YOUNG TO FIGHT
You could add weight classes being completely disregarded too tbh.
Every time Mac makes a Star punch, he jumps, which is illegal in boxing
Nah, jumping isn’t actually illegal in boxing
Not the most effective strat to use, but it still is legal
@@SeamstarSmokey Jumping isn’t but I’m pretty sure jumping and punching at the same time is
it's not clear whether or not he's jumping before or after the punch. even going frame-by-frame, it looks like he's on the ground one frame, and by the next he's both off the ground and past the punch connecting. and as said, jumping by itself is whatever.
(also it only happens for his 3 star one. he's completely grounded for the 1 and 2 star punches)
@@joelMMD Isn't turning your back to your opponent illegal anyways?
