I used your file the caliper drum as well as added more tension to the caliper lever by preloading the torsion spring. Stops and returns to freewheeling no issues now with the front brake dragging at all. Also shortened the cable just a smidge by moving up the barrel clamp about 1mm.
Test , Tune & Try then repeat 😅 Well worth it 👌 We find out on the 27th from Amain if we still want to keep on pre-order or (hoping) they give us a shipping date . Great video can't wait to see more 😀

Do you think maybe you need to replace the 2s gyro esc with a 3s one as faster gyro speed may be needed for the extra power. The bike was built with a 2s x 2s balance and may require a 3s x 3s power balance.
Thanks for the vids, just a couple questions. Can you take out a link to shorten the chain? Thereby tightening the chain back up like a real bike chain?, Or is it a buy a new one everytime deal , after moving the wheel back far as possible ? Thanks again for all the vids they've been super helpful
Probably the communication within/changing timing on the hole? .. Chain check sprocket and other gear for wear . On road bikes dirt bikes , u best to change the 3 , I may be wrong cause leg pressure lots heavier. If its the same wideness as a mob or bmx chaine .?
I put a Hobbywing EZrun 5400kv motor in mine plugged right in run Trinity 8000kv 150c batteries it's a beast so far ESC not getting hot if anything I'll just buy the matching Hobbywing ESC.
@@earlmoorhead5555 Maybe run it on the same brake servo and set up like a throttle servo . Push for front brake pull for rear break. but that wouldn't allow to use both brakes simultaneously. Prolly not enuff room for another rear brake servo. plus you would want separate progressive Triggers (not just on or off) to apply front and rear brakes independently.. Wow!!! that's asking Alot and would further complicate the driving experience.
I think even if you wanted to go through the hassle of making it work in reverse it would be very difficult to control with it basically having rear-wheel steering. Kinda like when people add rear-wheel steering to their Losi LMTs. It's cool for low speed maneuvers, but medium to high-speed handling will suffer.
As Losi talked about tuning the promoto Mx they had to think of it as a one wheel bike not reliant on the steering and that was the break threw with the gyro tuning and the wheelie control I feel reverse would do ok because of this pod cast they did talking about that 🧐
Someone needs to make wheels for the side that are made from like skate board wheels. I believe it would be a lot less scraping sound. When it scraps, that sound kinda sucks. A more rubber tire would be the ticket, I believe.
the build is great but i think on the speedrun i got 2 concerns that chain, as well as the driver being a aerodynamics issue but on the plus side i think that 70 to 80mph might be possible
The bike probably won't go backwards because of the castor and tracking somehow.... I know that if I'm rolling a motorcycle or even a bicycle backwards the bars continually go to full lock. It doesn't stay straight quite like it does when rolling forward 🤷♂️

Full charged 2s pack is 8.4 volts, I feel your dead on with the 8 volt gyro feed, I'd question the extra weight of the 3s pack changing center or gravity significantly might have an affect on lean handling characteristics, just my thought, I love the vids tho
My other Rc dirt bikes (arx540) and street bikes (x rider) the gyro is in the rear wheel and battery as low as possible, losi went with a chassis mounted gyro (extra heavy gyro for stability) and high mounted battery, but I love that the chassis mounted gyro doesnt create unsprung weight like previous dirt bike models...I'ma be doing this 3s venture with my losi soon and I have been following your videos im super grateful for you posting, Im still curious on handling characteristics possibly between a 3s 5k mah and lets say a 3s 4k mah or an equivalent 3s pack weight to a full size 2s..just food for thought

Yes this brake is the one I filed on the curb not as clean as the one I did in the shop so I have another brake to replace this one out

The super moto wheel n tire are smaller...when turning left the sprocket is hitting causing it to slode out n gyro flips it

I could see a pack causing an issue if it was both directions not just one 🤔
