A wrapped slab has two purposes, novelty & fun for reveals, and protection from transportation scratches for the slab itself. TAG is doing great, it has potential to be the greatest grading company. The macro surface finger print scan prevents resubmissions and could be used to help identify cracked & stolen cards. IF they can detect card care product they would be leagues above the rest of the grading companies. Machines remove the human error, subjectivity, and opinion and make the grade 100% objective. Less human staff also remove the potential of staff thefts and swap outs. TAG is literally on track to address all the issues most people complain about when it comes to grading. The potential for grading machines in GameStops or LGS is also an amazing potential concept purposed by TAG. It removes the risks involved with shipping either via damage, lost, or stolen. It removes the additional shipping costs and insurance on packages. It's literally making grading more accessible for people of lower incomes to enjoy the hobby. I'm not a schill either, I just see great potential.
And I have to admit, I LOVE THE INDIVIDUAL WRAPPERS!!! It’s funny facing all the hate, because it seems like a lot of it is coming from a place of jealousy that their grading company didn’t come up with the idea.
