  • Do you want to know How to Disable Windows 10 Login Password and Lock Screen? This is very easy to do. The first thing to do is disable the lockscreen password, go to the start menu and then go to settings. Then go to accounts and go to sign in options. Then disable the lockscreen password and switch it to never. Then go to the search icon and type in netplwiz command and uncheck mark the box that requires login password on the start up. ...

you all give this advice, but it's not correct... after the new windows 10 pro refresh, I generally don't have the option "Users enter a username and password to use this computer"

Saved everything except not wanted browsing history apps adds other junk and Cleaned a couple unwanted junk in Programs and features taking up Ram are removed. Everything I installed in the past 3 years when I picked it up New are Saved. You can simply do this any time but, Recovery will take everything and starting over would be a pain for sure . if nothing else this is the best way.

I got the perfect solution go into your windows settings > accounts > your info > Account settings > sign in with local account instead and then go to sign in options > password > change > write just current password & leave new password blank and you're done

This did work for me! Make sure you type in the User Name correctly in the 'Automatically sign in' box, this field autofill's with an incomplete User Name which your password won't match. THANKS for an easy to follow video.

      I figured it out.
Open the Registry Editor using [Windows] + [R] and “regedit”.
      Enter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device.
Double click on “DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion” and set the value to “0”.
Open User Accounts using [Windows] + [R] and “netplwiz”.
Uncheck the box beside “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”.

This did not work. When I start my computer, I have two names (names are the same) and if I click the first, it behaves as it did before and asks for my password. If I click the other name in the lower left corner, it asks for me to enter my account name AND password. This made the situation worse because now I have two account names which are the same in the lower left corner, but when I try to list accounts I only have the one original admin one I first created when installed Windows 10. I'm up to date on Win 10 as of Aug 20 2022.

My box is not checked on the User Accounts window, yet I still have to use my password to login every time I start my PC. Is that a windows glitch or am I missing something? I also found something at the bottom of the sign in options page that says, Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart, that option is turned on. Should that be turned off? Any type of guidance or response would be great. Thanks in advance.

I guess this has confirmed that it is now unable to be bypassed? I don't have either of these options in Settings. I tried both these places before, so at least I was in the right place! But no option to remove it when I really want to (my keyboard is shot and I'm afraid I'll get locked out one day). If anyone has any tips let me know!
